Thank you for creating this video! Carrizo Plain is one of my favorite National Monuments and I spend time camping and hiking there every autumn. The amount of wildlife I have encountered there is just remarkable-it is a bird watching paradise.
@@megatheriumclub I am looking forward to what parks you feature in the future. Some of my favorites are the lesser known ones as well such as Carrizo Plain, Rio Grande del Norte NM, and Pinnacles National Park.
Quite happy one of your videos popped up in my suggested videos! We too, spent some time here & loved it all around - KCL, Soda Lake Boardwalk, The Visitor’s Center, but with dogs we didn’t do the hike to the petroglyphs. Very well done!

2:55: "… requiring high-clearance vehicles…" also a bicycle could manage just fine and wouldn't damage the park as long as they stuck to roads. here's one lady who took some pictures on her bike trip through Carrizo and all the way out to Pismo Beach www.strava.com/activities/527755172
