Great reaction! I can't remember if you had reacted to it already, but you must react to Eternal Darkness (Autumn) by Wintersun also. A real black metal beast of a song with brilliant lyrics. Enjoy the show. Wintersun always truly amazing live. Hope to see you react to all the songs by Wintersun, you can't go wrong with any of them. They're all classics.
Already knew this band is existing many years ago, but just didn't have time to listen to them. Now I've been watching and listening to their music just for a few months, and once again I get the feeling, an agony, for not listening to them before. I've missed so many years. During my trip with metal I generally have learned to like the heavier stuff in the field of melodic, symphonic metal. There are many "poppy" songs in this field, which may have a catchy vibe, but those are the ones that I forget rather quickly. But then there's also this beautiful slower side, and I love it as much as I love the heavier songs. For this particular song... I've heard it several times now, and I was wondering before why the intro sounds a little bit similar to another song, but today I finally got it. It reminds me of a not very well known Nightwish song, "The Eyes of Sharbat Gula". (An Afghan young girl whose picture was shown on the cover of a National Geographic magazine.) A very beautiful instrumental piece of music.
Your reaction shows how gloriously epic this track is, the pause of silence when the video finishes is exactly how I reacted. Keep up the great work Ruben👏
i agree, i also kinda feel like he is kinda missing that fact: the song is not about someone walking in the snow so to say..... My mother recently passed away, i am listening this song to death.....
I cried as I listened to this. The agony and despair written in lyrics is familiar, because I have experienced it myself. An impressive song, and beautiful too!
Nice reaction, man! This song is very beautiful and sorrowful at the same time. I think, that you will be very impressed by their song called "Eternal darkness (Autumn)" This song is the complete opposite of "Loneliness (Winter)". This one is very dark, mysterious and furious with absolutely fantastic synth melodies and guitar riffs. Also, the lyrics of that song is very impressive. Jari's vocal on that song - is a kind of "evil scream". It's very strong... You'll enjoy by this masterpiece, man!
Amazing reaction to such a beautiful song! You should definitely check out Eternal Darkness (Autumn), it's completely opposite to this one, blast beats and epic dark atmosphere. As you are seeing them live, you will be blown away by this song.
Are you still not able to watch the music video of Pariah by Steven Wilson? You've probably heard the album version by now, but it would've been cool to see you react to the song together with the video. It's pretty powerful stuff if I might say so.
In my opinion the vocals are slightly oversung and would be better dialed back a bit. The instrumentals however are flawless. I'll check out more of their stuff and see if they grow on me.
I am happy to see you join us on the Wintersun train!!!!
Seeing them live next month...can't wait!!!
Ruben Buijs I am very jealous. We have been doing WintersunDay every Sunday since August and we love these guys. I can't wait to see them live.
Hi A&P :) Didn't expect to see you here

Jari is dealing with the loss of his dad in this song.. that info should change the whole feeling about the song.
i agree, i also kinda feel like he is kinda missing that fact: the song is not about someone walking in the snow so to say..... My mother recently passed away, i am listening this song to death.....
Jari Mäenpää is a phenomenal human being
He is not human, he is an angel
Amazing and beautiful song! I love Wintersun and Jari is genius.
I cried as I listened to this. The agony and despair written in lyrics is familiar, because I have experienced it myself. An impressive song, and beautiful too!
The best song of 2017!!!!
I am only sorry that I can never hear this for the first time again.
Perfect song!
No need for words, the facial expressions tells how you feel.
We Finns have this thing called silent crawl! Thoughts to Jari's father.
Opeth and Wintersun? These are two bands I have to see live one day.
Sentenced - Forever Lost, great melodies and guitarwork.
The forest seasons album is the best album I have ever listened to. You must listen to the whole album and each "season" works so brilliantly
love me some wintersun. I'm jealous that you're seeing them live.
when someone close to you goes by and you cannot do anything, you feel sorrow, pain, hate, relief and so on,. this is good song.
Nice reaction, man! This song is very beautiful and sorrowful at the same time.

Check out: Borknagar - The Rhymes of the Mountain. Hard and epic, with amazing cleans and growls.
Winter Thrice is good as well.
To be honest, you can't go much wrong with any Borknagar song.
Wintersun can make a 12+ minute feel like a five-minute song. They are over too fast! Every time I listen to this song, I have to repeat it.
Jinjer and Arch Enemy in the same concert on the same day. Bro you are living life to the fullest :)
I can't wait!
That show in Tilburg is going to be epic!! Enjoy man

Rishloo - Just a Ride! Trust me on this one man :-)
In my opinion the vocals are slightly oversung and would be better dialed back a bit. The instrumentals however are flawless. I'll check out more of their stuff and see if they grow on me.
Fun fun fun till daddy takes the t-bird away.

Hey did you have an opeth video posted the other day because I no longer see it, did it get copy righted?
Do you live in the US?
Ruben Buijs yes
It's blocked there :(
Another Ukrainian band like Jinjer with a female vocalist who does both clean and growls. Try Ignea here ua-cam.com/video/PogzrU8WPjo/v-deo.html
Are you on MDMA?
