Nice painting Cody! My Daytripper finally arrived TODAY! I'm super excited to get out and use it. Really nice painting here. The depth is nice and I really liked your subtlety of greens! Thats tough for me still. I'd love to see you paint a city scene or some architecture. Would be cool to see how you handle that. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Danny! Glad to hear you got your easel, I am excited to hear how you like it. Greens are always tough, especially this time of year. Controlling values and mixing in the right amount of red generally helps. That's a good location idea; maybe I'll try an urban plein air next. Take care and let me know how the new easel fares!
Hey, great video! you did such a beautiful painting. Can you please make a video of how you use your camera to record your Plein air painting process. Thanks:)
Thank you! Well, it isn't anything too fancy to be honest. I use a GoPro Hero 8 and bring along a tripod for it when I go out to paint. I periodically take shots while I do the painting to try and bring the viewer along. Maybe sometime in the future I'll do a video on the filming process; thanks for the suggestion!
It is a little bright, a size 8. Good brush for blocking in color in the little paintings I do. Honestly I don't get too caught up in using specific brushes; I just grab whatever I feel will get the job done in the moment!
Location suggestions: Smithville Lake, Kaw Point Park, Weston Red Barn Farm, Louisburg Cider Mill, Waterworks Park, Liberty Bend Conservation Area, English Landing Park, Hodge Park (mostly just the buffalo)...is that enough for now?

@@fountatelier Thanks a lot for sharing the filming gear and Looking forward to the video as-well.
What is the second brush you use? It looks like a scrubber. I could read black sable but not the rest.

Are you using oil paper?
No, just a loose piece of oil primed linen

Awesome! Thank you, I'll take a look and add those to my list :)
