The Heaviest Podcast of All Time
Dude thank you so much for having us! 14 year old me would literally never believe I'd get to do this one day :)
I want to be next!❤ one day . I’ll keep working hard!
I knew that was you! I don't know anything about your band but I was like damn that looks like Baena haha. What's that tee? It's like half slaughter to prevail, half some other band? I discovered the "emmure is a cult" tee watching one of your vids and got it. Love your riff evolution vids.
@@Rob_Cary brand of sacrifice is the other band my dude
I wouldn't have found thid podcast without following you guys, first time seeing this pop up on my feed!
When Andrew said "and then Johnny will say oh that's in the key of" 😂🤣😂around 1:02:01 😂🤣😂🤘🤘🤘🤘 awesome podcast got to see them and talk for a bit in Portland 🙏🙏and saw you at chaos and carnage when was smoking with David from Signs of the Swarm outside El Corazon in Seattle drove up to from Portland it was just to good to miss out while yall where close by the northwest 🤘🥳🤘but saw you smoking so didnt want to interupt you while you were relaxing outside after the show with all due respect just have a lot of love and respect for you and inspiring to see you bringing the bands together 🙏🙏 Gracias Carnal Garza, wishing you the best always🙏🙏🌎🎵🎶🎵🎶🤘🤘
Thank you so much for having us
I love the connections between you guys and AM. Glad to see you guys blowing up. Very cool you made it onto the podcast.
I have that same Disentomb shirt!
The fact that Johnny is in both Angelmaker and Carcosa is dope af.
Johnny rules
Incredible hangs my man thanks so much for having us 💛
When I saw that Within Destruction, I was like PLEASE PLEASE get the boys from Carcosa and I am so happy to see the boys of Carcosa in this, they deserve all the hype they get...
Just saw both of them in Denver on Saturday night and they both whooped ass!
Emanuel Marcos *CARCOSTA*
Garza is the man for being such a fan and humble dude.
My baby bois 🤘💚🤘
Hi dude 🤘 from Malaysia 🇲🇾 Kuala Lumpur fan's watching 🤘
Please invite Tallah on the show! The world needs to hear them!
The fuckin bros! Andrew baena is one of the reasons I tune low and bought 8 and 9 strings! Recently got a 27 inch scale 7 string for drop F. That's probably my favorite but like go to the 8 and 9 once in a while though.
Joshua travis was also another huge influence for me.
I've requested Josh Travis to be on here a couple times. Would be badass. I hope he gets to bring more of the flavor of his older bands to emmure next time around. I thought that's where we were heading with "look at yourself" but kinda felt like they took a few steps backwards with "hindsight".
@@Rob_Cary josh said that he can't don't no more. At least not full time, something with his wrists and fingers. He plays on twitch a lot. He's super nice about it, but he is kinda over glasscloud and danza. He won't say it but his moderator gets pissed when ppl beg for those bands songs to get played.
He still plays them though here and there.
Love finding out bands I haven’t heard before. It’s cool to hear the interview/back story and then going checking out the bands music.🔥🔥 music dudes. Thanks to Garza for making Monday’s enjoyable.
Thanks JT. Thats the goal. I want these to help start the week right. -GaЯza
So awesome to hear the band’s love for Suicide Silence. 🔥
Pleeeeeaaase get LORNA SHORE on here!!
Love Carcosa 😍
Been following Baena since 2016! Dudes the reason I got a 7 string!!
Carcosa is made of some real down to Earth dudes. Johnny dapped me up at the merch booth for Lorna this past October, which I thought was awesome. Keep doin your thing boys
Just saw these fine gentlemen in Toronto last night. They put on a solid fucking show.
I wanted to see them on here but didn’t realize. I also loved the Adam Neely reference from Johhny lol
Great to see Carcosa here :) Been supporting these boys since the GP days :3
Heck yes!
This band was a great interview and I have seen Andrew before with the singer on youtube best metal ever 🤘🤘
Van City Represent. Next get Angelmaker!
Dope interview ❤️🤘
36:05 i wanna hear that drum solo
This is a great podcast! much love dudes, this is how metal was supposed to be.. This is why i picked up a guitar 20 years ago! We all gotta keep the scene healthy, can't wait to see where this all goes!
I’ve been following baena sonce 2018. He is the reason why I love deathcore
not only for canadian bands. thats why european bands don't often go to USA.
These guys are smart & cool. Great band
These guys are so awesome and I freaking love Carcosa. Thanks for doing the interview! Also, I just found out who you are Chris! Your music freaking rips for sure!
I LOVE THIS BAND
12:12 Trav speakin truth here
Lol Chris! talkin bout never seeing peoppe shoot up lol, bro youre in Santa Ana right? I work out there and thats all i see man. People are wild out there, especially LA
Haha its wild. I avoid that 7-Eleven near the spot all the time. It's getting nuts.
This band is the future. Angelmaker is also goated and should not be left out. DC is in good hands
11:09 yea they ain’t wrong. It’s scary af downtown now
💛💛💛💛
Canada sounding ridiculous time to move out to the US fellas lol
intro music slaps ngl
Next up, fox lake🍑
Great podcast they have a weird writing process but it works my bands do it like write a base riff then show it to drummer then add shit and structure shit when I record my solo shit I just improv it then learn it and solidify it
Tactosa band pls
downbeat gang
Slamming death metal
Lmfao we get it brvh. You werk for UA-cam 💀
Iowa > volume 3 posers.
I remember queuing outside the music shop the day Iowa came out. Easily the heaviest album to ever get to number 1 on the uk album chart. Insane how popular they are
vol 3 opens and closes so hard but the rest is so unbelievably mid, i wish they had more tracks like iowa title track
Carcosa is sooo boring. Copy and paste deathcore thats been done 1000x over.
