Hawaii Exploring - Haleakalā National Park - Maui - March 2023

Come with us on a visit to Haleakalā National Park to explore and see an amazing sunset above the clouds at 10,000 feet above the ocean. Actually the Haleakalā mountain is 28,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean floor making it the third-tallest mountain on Earth.
Haleakalā , meaning House of the Sun, is one of Hawaii's most famous volcanic mountains, located on the eastern half of Maui. Haleakalā’s sunsets and the bright, starry skies revealed at night are hard to describe they are so beautiful. The morning sunrise is a hard ticket to get so give me the sunset and beautiful starry night to follow.

I have been to that volcano myself three times: 1990, 1998 and 2019. Altitude gets to you a little.

No doubt. Probably the highest point I have ever been and a beautiful place.
