I feel bad that I was never able to make it down to the Chicago store when you were there!I had planned to try to do the parade and the store. I ended up with covid. I am so happy to hear how much you love our store!! That's the store I raised my daughter in and i'm just so glad to hear how much joy it brought you! I hope the Eid outfit is still on display- I didn't see it in your video. It makes me want to go down there and eat in the cafe. Glad to see your on the mend. I have not been to the Chicago store yet. Hopefully this June. I have been to the NYC Rockefeller store, do not remember a basement, then again I only had 15 mins to shop that day. Chicago looks like a lot of fun. Now book your trip to Dallas.

My appendix burst when I was a teenager and I was in hospital for a week too. It was the absolute worst. Take care of yourself!
I went to the Water Tower American Girl for the first time in September and literally same, it's just breath taking even though it's not the og Chicago location, I'm going again this Friday for my birthday and crazy excited to go back
I'm so glad you said that about traveling with your doll. I'm almost 60 and have no problem traveling with my dolls.
Goodness that's terrible! I'm sorry you had been going through that 😢 I had a terrible UTI when I traveled to Tennessee by myself. It just suuuucks being bent out of shape in pain when you're supposed to be fully having fun. 😅
hope ur feeling better chris. i just wanted to correct u bc i just went to the ny cafe in jan 2023 and they had both the pizza and the app tower which included the fruit, pigs in a blanket, and everything. perhaps they just updated the menu for all stores recently.

I hope you are doing better and I know what it's like never recover likes from something like that in the hospital something like that happened to me like two thousand sixteen or seventeen it was awful house in the hospital for like two weeks.

Oh gee, sorry to hear! I hope you have a speedy recovery! My hubby’s appendix also burst about 10yrs ago, spent 10 days in ICU. I hope your home now 🙏🏻

I haven’t been to Chicago since it moved locations, but the new location looks lovely. I agree that the new NYC store feels more like a shabby department store compared to the 5th Avenue location. I miss the old building!
DC is my favorite of the small stores. It is huge compared to many of the other boutiques and still has me enchanted.

I'm so sorry for what you went through, and I hope your feeling better! The AG place Chicago looks amazing, I would do anything to visit it! I live near one of the smaller locations, so my store definitely does not have this feeling to it, but I hope to visit the Tennessee store soon! I feel like Chicago is the best American girl store, but unfortunately I've never been. I love how it seems they are more focused on the historical dolls, that makes me so happy since I love the historical line! I hate the truly me dolls ever since the re - brand, and I'm glad in Chicago they have the back seat.

I love you videos Kris and really enjoy your channel. I wanted to ask...would you ever consider doing a video about photographing dolls in public?? I suffer from social anxiety and im quite shy, not to mention a mature age collector,but would so love to take my dolls around with me. Unfortunately, I have experienced judgement and ageism related to my dolls not only by strangers but within my own circles...feel like im very much hiding in the closet still. Could you give anyone like me some pointers for strength, some how to hints etc? Would so love a vlog where you take us with you on a doll shoot and talk us through how to be more confident. I value your opinions so very much.❤

I was there but didn't get to take my time. I'm going again in August. They did have a good bloody mary!!
