An old friend invited us over to his apartment during a junior high school skip day during the early 80's ( '81) and played this guitar sequence for us. He was highly talented musically but tortured too and succumbed to drugs shortly afterwards. Into the Beatles when I was only 4 grew up through the 1970s when it was common to hear so much good music plus an incredible band like this on the radio, no wonder I became a musician. Read this comment at my funeral just add the last six words. What a Lucky Man He Was.
When they appeared on Ed Sullivan, I was 4 also. I sat with my brother (14 at the time). He said, "You're watching history". How true ..
I saw Emerson, Lake and Palmer back in the late 60s or early 70s in Wildwood NJ. All I remember was standing right at the stage front dancing all night long. To this day, I still love them and their music. ❤️❤️❤️
I am 62 and grew up with there music such great times I loved so many bands and this one really stands out !!
One of the top classical rock groups from the 70's. Right up there with the likes of the Moody Blues and Pink Floyd. Pure talent.
Yes

So many memories .my ex husband and I played these songs together
OMG…Same for me. First time I went to his apartment b4 we were married, this was played. I think I was meant to be there, even though it eventually didn’t last when we were married. This song takes me right back.
Wow I haven’t heard this song in a million years and it’s so beautiful …
I love this band. Very talented the three of them. Very innovative and special lyrics. One of the most unique band of all times.❤❤❤
Grande classe , et même un peu plus . Très belle époque et musique très colorée . Merci E.L.P
Take all of today's music, make a smoothie and you don't get a second of this song.
Incomparable
100%!
Certo!
That first chord strum always gives me goosebumps. ELP got me through my teen years. (1960s-70s.) God, I still love this song.
Ahhh, Greg Lake had the most beautiful voice. Loved this song!!❤
A voice you will never forget. It was at its best in the acoustic ballads. Not to forget Lucky Man, Still you turn me on and Just take a pebble.
Of all the great music at the time, this stood out to me then and now.
Their best ballad and the best Lake's song from a masterpiece album. Immortal!
Greg Lake is perhaps the most under-appreciated artist in music history. Seriously.
Gone but never ever to be forgotten
, this music will live forever
I love their music. Since the beginning!
Thanks for sharing this classic acoustic rock song. So epic!
This song reminds me of my youth when the people that loved me,and I loved back are all gone now.
This man (Greg Lake) hasn"t been only one of the most beautiful voices ever, but he also had one of the most gorgeous faces I've ever seen.😍
Legendary band pure talent one of the greatest of all time
