    Doesn’t surprise me that you’re an SOAD fan. When I’m having a painting session, it’s typically SOAD or Tool I’m blasting. Long time viewer, appreciate all you do and congrats on the channel success! Rock on 🤘🏻

    On your mold- the airvents are vents, and the "pour hole" is the sprue or downsprue. And for dusting- I've always used a sock full of chalk/talc, and dabbed the mold with it. But this was for aluminum in sand molds. Great looking baits- loving the channel.

    That pouring part of the mold is called a "Gate". I get lost for words sometimes too. I really dig your channel. You have a lot to offer. I think you are gifted and clever.

    I absolutely love the bluegill coloring especially when thats the main forage around here your a big inspiration for a fisherman to make his own lure and put it to the test keep doing what your doing- kansas

      Line must be twisted too hell, winding with a loose drag = bad

    That bait has a great subtle swim action. It would be a great saltwater bait for snook, trout, and redfish.

    great stuff. I would love to see more of the action of your lures. Have you thought of making a lure tank out of an old hot tub or something? I wanna see it underwater and get a sense of what type of action / effect you are looking for. Thanks for the videos, they're great

    Hey, I dig your vids. I just got to the part where you clear coat with KBS. That is also what I use. I would highly recommend using some type of ventilator & respirator when using that product. You can and WILL develop COPD without proper ventilation and respiration using that product, even in moderate amounts. It's just not worth the risk and selfishly I want to keep seeing your vids!

    You can epoxy glass or brass rattles in them.
    Just put them in sideways so they rattle on the wobble.

      I was kinda thinking the same way, I think Rapala calls that coloration/pattern “Tiger Perch”...

    Reminds me of Mann's Bait Company lure called Little George. But that lure, while looking similar, is made from lead, has the line tie on top, and is designed for vertical jigging. Your lure looks more like a horizontal lure. Nice looking bait you have there.

      Little George's dominate in water 30+ feet. Trolling them is a proven fish catcher too.

      I am so gonna use some of his ideas...but yeah, tighten the drag or lift the rod and "reel it down."

    Whats up man just Subscribed to your channel i think your lures are Sick , i live in south jersey and do alot of , bank and jetty fishing ! mostly salt water but i think that silver shad would work great for back bay and surf fishing for stripper and blue fish ... keep up the great work .. peace out . try throwing that duckling in some lilly pads youll def catch a monster bass bro ....

      Marling Baits. when the drag screams, stop reeling, then when the fish stops running reel and keep the slack out. Work em w the pole. Don’t horse em w the reel. Hard on your line and drag disk.

    Very nice to see that hand made lures catch well.
    The drag tho with the fish alert (yes thats why your reel sounds like that its a system in the reel body) seemed a bit exxcessive for the size of the fish.

      Thanks! Had the drag tighter for that first fish that I lost. The hooks are small on this bait, so kept it loose for the rest.
