Iphone New oversharpening King!
It's not just that iPhone is oversharpened. Xiaomi is most likely the manufacturer with the softest photos. So any other company's shots will look sharper and compared to someone like Apple, the Xiaomi will look normal and Apple will look completely oversharpened. I mean that's how you get high scores on dxo honestly, just tick a few boxes and you're good to go. Complete shills. It still boggles my mind how the 12S Ultra got lower scores than the Mi 11 Ultra.
@kaiserfakinaway5909 It actually is oversharpened. Last year Samsung had the throne but they dailed it down this year while Apple even did add more sharpening in recent updates. It looks absolutely horrid.
@@yamahaevo noo I didn't say they aren't oversharpened, I said that they are but in comparison to Xiaomi, they look faaar worse.
Also, yes, updates have made it horrible. I remember being absolutely awestruck by the 24 MP shots when the phone first came out, the softness was just a notch lower than Xiaomi's Ultra phones, and was damn near perfection.
BUUT, I must say, Samsung STILL has the throne. Because of one thing, night mode shots. The night mode shots of their phones are if like, someone put a "Samsung" filter on top of the processing, every con about their phone is pushed to 11.
Their new president is the worst thing that has happened to the company. From making the amazing Note20 Ultra that was on par with others in terms of sharpening and stuff to the S23 Ultra, yikes. The S23 Ultra was the turning point for Samsung, the last time I could even look at them properly, without disgust.

Good professional comparison
Apple is really lagging behind of the competition with regard to the camera. Both hardware (optics) and software (AI). On the iPhone 15 only the main camera has a higher shareness up to 24MP but only in ProRaw. The ultrawide and selfie lens are only 12MP. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has 4 lenses at 50MP. Apple relies more on photo processing than optics. Xiaomi relies more on optics and less on processing making the photo's more natural.

Overall the Xiaomi is a way better than the Samsung and the iphone.The most important thing is that Xiaomi does not fall under sanctions because of its super technology, like Huawei at the time. If it weren't for the sanctions, Huawei would be number one in the world by camera. We will be waiting for Vivo X 100 ultra

Even though the iPhone's sharpening can be a bit much, I still love the overall look. With a Torras case and its stand, I got some great photos on my trips.

I have the Vivo X100 Pro. It's very good! 😀👍 (I switched from an Samsung S23U). The Vivo Ultra will be better than the Xiaomi. Honestly (in most photo comparisons) the X100 Pro IS better than the Xiaomi.

Im pretty happy with my 14 Ultra but its not worth 1 500$ for sure but I got it for under 1000$ 16GB/512GB version and in that price range it has no competition.
i have been using xiaomi for like almost 1 month as my secondary phone,photography from rear is great in day light but lowlight is worst,selfie is inconsistent exposure i can't agree your opinion on selfie because at this price they are expect to have good exposure and subject control not only sharpness,if we have harsh light at back don't take selfie from xioami it usually over blownout,photography is great amazing but lowlight from both photo amd video is below average for the price.

@@foetor , selfie photos are primarily made to capture the face(s), not the sky. So, yes, iPhone 15 Pro Max captured more blue on the sky and completely damaged the face, making the selfie picture almost unusable. Good job!

Helló. If you could choose 1 phone for free, which one would you prefer? Most important aspects are: photo, selfi and display. Performance and fast charging not important. Only main faktor that i would like to make photo which are the closest to the real life. S24ultra, Xiaomi 14 ultra, pixel 8 pro, honor magic 6 pro? These are the 4 phones where i cannot choose which is the best. (Iphone not option)

HDR on Xiaomi is too aggressive .. where are the shadows, penumbra? Colour is too pop up..Who likes it ?! Only if you’re not going to adit shots- okay, but for editing they are terrible
