- US President Joe Biden says Israel has a “fundamental responsibility” to protect innocent civilians in Gaza.
The President defended Israel for its ground assault in Gaza after Hamas’ October 7 terrorist attack.
He said most of the 30,000 Palestinians killed were not Hamas soldiers.
“I have been working nonstop to establish an immediate ceasefire that will last for six weeks to get all the prisoners released, all the hostages released,” President Biden said.
He also announced plans to build a pier in Gaza to help deliver humanitarian aid.

What's hamas's responsibility?
Not if the civilians are putting themselves up as a shield for hamas.
It is very difficult to differentiate between Hamas and innocent civilians. Besides they all celebrated after the atrocities of October 7. The behaviour of pro Palestinian protestors are hardly very elevating either.
