Mine arrived today and could only get about 5 mins flight because of rain but it was a fun 5mins. Mine flew very well and could basically do a 180 with elevon and rudder use. The manual is not that great imho but I’ll figure that out. Also they are branded “PINECONE MODEL”
Nice review, pretty cool little plane. Most of these little planes fly with a nose up attitude even with down trim added. I usually tape 1 or 2 pennies to the nose and this usually corrects the issue....
OK Re gyro calibration. It can only be done AFTER binding the Tx and plane by Tx on first, then plane, then throttle full up and full down, then BEFORE raising throttle to start motors move both sticks to down and out. The Tx led will blink and the Tx will give 2 beeps plus the plane leds will blink fast then go solid. After that you can raise the throttle to power the motors. If you power the motors first 1 motor will rev up as you swing the rudder stick over even if the throttle is fully down! The leds can be switched off/on by holding the throttle trim switch UP for a couple of secs. A short press only gives 1 beep and must be to switch the camera for photo or video. (Short pressing it down gives 2 beeps.) If you turn the Tx off (to simulate lost signal) with the motors running the motors go to a slow running then shut off after about 10 seconds. If you are in Hover Mode the plane seems to default to Stabilized Mode on loss of signal first. We'll have to check that 3-pin Camera socket to see if it might switch an old Syma X5C camera. Looking forward to giving this a run on the weekend - think it should be a fun little toy! 😉 EDIT 1...Just checked and Syma X5C camera is a drop in replacement. Takes Video (throttle trim down to start/stop) and photos (throttle trim up for 1 beep and 1 photo.) Will need to fashion a mount from a gift card to screw the camera to. There's an old analogue 5.8ghz system around here somewhere that can be used also. EDIT 2 ... Sticks Down and In also does some kind of calibration - try them both!
Hi! Thx for the tips. Should that calibration be done while standing flat on it's wheels (so nose a bit higher) or raising up the rear ones a bit to set the body flat?
@@FirstPersonBolo Depends how you want it to fly in the self-levelling mode. Nose up for high Alpha slow flight - or nearly level for fast normal plane flight.
Omg I got mine and decided to just take it up as if it was a reg 3 channel rc plane. Got so lucky I didn’t crash it and I almost lost it. Watching this video and ty
If the manual does not show any combination stick movements to recalibrate the Gyro Level it might pay to remove the 2 screws holding the cover plate over the flight controller. Then you may be able to shim the tail of the board down to cause the nose to fly lower in Stabilized Mode. Also is the Camera socket a 3-pin or a 4-pin unit? Once that is investigated it probably will be practical to adapt an old toy quadcopter camera for use on this plane. They appear to have been generous with the spare props there. Banggood only seem to supply 1 of each. No extra battery options either and batteries are getting hard to find now. Interesting little toy though. Just a pity that this tiny brushed unit now costs as much as the much superior XK X520 brushless one did when it was released.
You can calibrate the gyro by holding both sticks to the bottom outside for 5 secs while turning on the tx, according to my manual anyway, not sure about the camera socket power thing… also this can be had for about 65 on Alix….
@@kenstogie Thanks for the info Ken. Where did you buy yours from? I see that you can get the base unit cheap on Ali and also a 4 battery + wi-fi 720/1080P camera version (incl SD card) on Ali from a more reputable site for quite a bit more.

what are the extra socket's for on the under side???..also I need some of those Batt's for two of my machine's. Especialy my Skyviper Drone which is way great fun and kinda hard to fly at the same time.

I watched this after getting a very similar something for Christmas. Great tutorial.

I think this is the best mini F22 I have seen. Great review as always
I am a beginner andI have bought 2 of these.. they are the real deal and soooooo inexpensive. and so easy to fly.

I add a toothless nano into the cockpit bubble and takes care of it nicely

Hi 101 great vid as always and hi to all I can only say it beeps for low battery for that price it should have RTH £90 ? Very steep just my opinion
the eachine mini t16 jet with one coreless 1020 engine is better than this one ? the price is similar !
This one is a lot funner to fly. But here is my review of the mini F16 ua-cam.com/video/F8sNStFxUaU/v-deo.html
Does anyone know where I can find the replacement motor or something better?
You can get parts for it here. www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807374048060.html

There are two 2 pin sockets for additional LED lights, and one 3 pin socket for a planned future WiFi camera module.
