They are! I have had them for a few weeks now and yeah they're big shoes so they're a little uncomfortable but you get used to it. I wear them at school for the whole day and I'm fine ^_^

hey so i have bought two other pairs of demonias in a size larger than mine and i’m waiting for the pink camel 311s to come out this coming month and since i’m kind of in between sizes im not sure if these run larger or if they have plenty of room at the toe for you? i wears size nine in normal shoes but my demonias have been a size ten
i have the black pair and i sized up to an 8 since i’m a 7.5 and there’s a lot of room in the toe area. if you want to be on the safe side, get the 10. i always buy my demonias in an 8 in case they’re small, but so far they’ve all been a bit big.

I don’t think it’s safe wearing very platformed shoes on ice either way, it’s better to be on the safe side than potentially risk your ankles!!
