Good one! I use a few different forcing deck methods and this one looks really good. One additional idea is to have 4 dice on the table and let the spectator freely choose how many dice she will roll to get to a random number. Same result, but it brings a much wider range of numbers into play (1-24). Alternatively, if you ask her to roll all 4 dice (instead of giving her a choice) it means that you can do the counting demo (as you have done) with 5 random cards and leave them on top (if you want to). Just some thoughts.
Absolutely. I happen to buy lots of decks because I manufacture a lot of packet tricks...but getting a one way deck would be a good idea. Or get a 4 way deck and you could make 4 different quarter decks with different force cards.
Yes. You are probably right about that. After I shot this video, I thought that I should have either done that or lost the card better in the deck. Great point.
Hi Greg, That is excellent. Thanks for sharing that. I kept thinking that you were using a gimmick deck. 😊. I was guessing it was a SVENGALI DECK or a Mirage deck. I have a few 1-way decks, but i don't do any tricks with them. I use the cards for extra cards when i have cards signed or a card gets destroyed, or if i need a duplicate card. Can't we use 13 of the same cards from a 1-way deck for this trick because you don't show the top half anyway, and the spectator never sees the other kings, Lol. I keep waiting for you to show that force / trick video. Are you still going to teach it? I hope. Thanks, Greg. Take care.
Yes...You definitely can create one of these if you have a one-way deck. All you need is 13 cards of the same. I have several videos I'm working on now and yours is one of them. I actually found a similar version of it by Billy McComb - but your idea is easier. I'll probably shoot that one in a week or so. Thanks :)
Or buy six pinochle decks and one regular deck and make two quarterdecks. Or buy six pinochle decks and several regular decks to make several quarterdecks.
Yes and no. You cannot spread a Svengali the way you can this deck. I literally fooled a room full of professional magicians with this because they could see that it was not a Svengali. Different tools for different purposes.
@@WeirdFactsDetective I know, but you can riffle the cards and let them say stop when they will inadvertently pick your forced card while the whole deck appears normal with a shown riffle. Just cheaper than buying multiple decks.
@@reginalddunn2088 Yes.... you can do that and get a similar effect. But as I say in the video , the Svengali, Mirage and Pop-Eyed are all good options for force decks. But the quarter deck allows you psychological misdirection that the others can't and can be more convincing if you use it right. All good decks - but different tools for different purposes. Thanks for watching and for commenting!
Love these great effects
Thank you. Glad you enjoy them.
@trapdoormagic Mastermind deck is my favorite force deck as you can spread and shuffle. Paid like $50 for it.
Great deck and trick 🎉 thanks ✨️
Genius idea.. The mind of a great magician at work.
Thanks for the kind words :)

Excellent idea. I always like using dice anyway because dice just look good with cards - and they truly are random numbers. Thanks for adding to this!
Great trick and no need to use 13 packs to make it. Just buy a one way forcing deck or a 50/50 deck and use 13 of them.

Very Nice!
Thanks!
Very nice thanks ❤. I would prefer to leave the card to the spectator as showing that many cards might point to a key card

@@trapdoormagic , That's great. I'm looking forward to it.
Have a great rest of the week/ weekend.
Yes, that would be better than buying multiple decks.
This is so so good 👍 😊
Glad you like it :)

scusa ma se dovessi rifarlo come la mettiamo questa che magia è?
Non sono sicuro di aver capito la tua domanda. Ma come la maggior parte dei trucchi di magia, non ripeteresti questo per lo stesso pubblico.
you could use a svengali for this....with a few random cards on the top and bottom rather than purchase 13 decks..- this is NOT a killer effect

Svengalis are 50/50. This is a quarter deck.

@@trapdoormagic I am just cheap. One could add a few random cards at the top and bottom of the Svengali deck if the backs match.
