    This is why I LOVE this woman! Michelle is talent personified. (Her work in "MOTHER!" and "Wolf" were so under-rated.) More importantly she has always come across as a very consistent, candid person in her interviews. And she still looks like a REAL person. Wishing her nothing but continued blessings.

    Michelle's so nice and so normal. Soft voice. Think she's a really genuine nice person. Do feel for these women...it's so upsetting. Weinstein belongs in jail...like Spacey and Seagal and many many many many others in Hollywood.

    "normalization" is a great point. About two generations ago there was still this language in use, where men "hunted" women, "wore them down" till they "finally gave in" and "let them have their way".... it was this logic of women being the sweet bunny and men the aggressive wolf. Weinstein kind of had a point when he said, he grew up in a different era. (not that that's an excuse!!!!) But we as a society normalized harassment for so long and we are just waking up. Even I, as a woman, struggle with acknowledging that certain "incidents" that happened to me, weren't just awkward or a bit weird. They were wrong and criminal.

    Michelle Pfeiffer is the most beautiful, classiest, well spoken lady in Hollywood :) She is not into the 'oh look at me going out to dinner all dressed up' scene. She's just a down to earth megastar actress who thinks before she speaks and comes across as considerate and caring as well. My favourite actress of all time as I'm sure she is to many others. :)

      I recently learned that people are in their right to ask for the money they believe they’re worth in their jobs.
      I was being underpaid and was working really hard.
      Then I learned some people who did not even care about the job were making more money than me and, one of them said “you negotiate in your interview”.
      To him speaking pretty about himself in an interview gave him the opportunity to make more money even if on his first day of work he started proving he wasn’t worth of it.
      And people like me don’t usually ask for what one deserves.
      But now, I’m all for ASK FOR WHAT YOU’RE VALUED.

      @malafakka8530 7 років тому

      joan lantis I have nothing against the protection of children. It just has pretty much nothing to do with the current allegations of sexual harrasment. And just because someone doesn't agree with you it doesn't mean that that person is unhappy or anything else for that matter. Take care and have a nice day.

  • @kimt8162
    @kimt8162 4 роки тому +1

    That's what makes it harrassment; when a person in "control" or influence who takes advantage of that situation. Who then uses it to take advantage of the person who is in the "weaker" or dependent position. It can happen in many forms to many type of people. Some see it as more a position of "power". A person who wants to use their power to take from someone else. TO this day in many situations, if a man is not with me; you will see me treated differently than if a man is with me. If a man is with me, I'm usually treated with more respect or left alone. If not, people's behavior is well just rude.

    Well, maybe she should talk about those alleged situations. They always involve "shame" and embarrassment. Well, if you don't share them they might repeat themselves with other people (victims) and the authors will never be identified therefore prosecuted or at least having fingers pointed at them. That's why we have to share it no matter what.

Millennials today are so socially connected & talk about everything. She's probably reluctant to give details or names now because she's still afraid that it will hurt her career.

    I believe there are good and bad people and I do not know of a woman who has not had a man get aggressive with them at some point an time. It is not acceptable, but does it happen yes and I believe both sexes learn from it. Some evidently learn more than others. ARE ALL MEN like this and do ALL WOMEN get themselves in these situations. NO. What I am worried about are the CHILDREN that cannot protect themselves...THAT IS WHO I AM WORRIED ABOUT.

    • @marias7599

      I actually disagree with something here.
      Harassers don’t learn.
      They actually feel they’re entitled to act. Even if they get scolded by it, they believe their behavior was not wrong.
      Not ALL man are like it but, a huge number are like it. It is a system that was build centuries ago, that’s why people “normalized it”. Even women.

      Because we women have paid for the broken dishes for the longest time.
      In my mother’s culture; they used to think that if a men leaves for another woman is the wife’s fault for being “incapable” of making her husband stay.
      If a woman gets punched by him she should be telling anyone. Those things are “private”.
      Is women’s fault.

    It's been out of control for years. When you get reported for telling someone their hair looks great today, then you realize how out of control it truly is. I've had a girl ask me to eat. I foolishly accepted and ended up paying for both meals. The next time she asked I said no and she reports me for telling her her hair looks nice. Society needs to draw the line because right now it's put nice people who smile or compliment others into a corner. I'll be fighting back in the future though. I've decided to adopted a drama queen attitude and see how it goes(I'm going to start reporting using my phone to record ANY questions, behavior in meetings, any dialogue I have with others in the workplace and purposefully conscrew any and all conversations as harassment and sue my work if I get fired for not doing anything about my silly reports.

They made that choice 2 keep quit for the sake of money.. patheric
