Definetly not, Mads Mikkelson's performance was amazing he displayed complete control and authority at all times whilst displaying such a powerful aura whereas homelanders character requires a less skileld actor to play. Anthony star did an amazing job but he's not on that lvl

How is hannibal the antagonist? Isn't the show literally called hannibal, i thought it was from his perspective ?is it actually from Will's perspective (I haven't watched it yet btw)
Personally I never found Hannibal that impressive, at least the TV show version. Idk about the novels. Sure he's infinitely better than Gus and Homelander, but I think Johan, for example, is above him by a decent margin (like high diff). I'd say he's around Chuck level. Logan victim imo. His dynamic with Will is peak indeed. Probably the thing I like most about his character.
Hannibal in the series doesn't have as much depth. In the novels he is explored more and has more prominence. Hannibal in the series is still interesting, but he doesn't reach the level of the great protagonists like Tony Soprano, Don Draper, Bojack, Walter, Jimmy, Elliot, etc. Even rust cohle puts up a fight.

NBC Lecter's Dynamic with Will is much Better Explored than SOTL Lecter's Dynamic with Clarice, and NBC Lecter is overall a Much more Explored Characters. I can't think of a Single Category Hopkins's Lecter takes.
