I have some problems with my h7 lenses on a Avensis t25 non facelift
The reflectors of the lenses are damaged(burned) an i can not find new lenses for halogen bulbs

Pro tip to anyone else watching. Buy replacement clips for the engine cover pre-emptively. They will break upon removal most of the time.

I found that when I grabbed the headlight and rotated it outwards the black plastic clip/latch just popped off. It was too strong to undo with fingers or screwdriver but a bit of brute force and ignorance... This is years later - might be useful to someone else though

it's not about changing bulb - only about headlights regeneration
+jagkev Changing the actual *lightbulb* is super simple. Just find where the cable goes into the back of the headlight and rotate about 15 degrees, and it'll come out. Done.
er no. the power supply is removed, then a rubber seal then unclip the spring retainer then lamp pops out

Note that I was saying how to remove the bulb, not the entire light.

My god, why the hell did they make it so damn hard to replace a fricking bulb?!!
The bulb is easily changed. This is the complete headlight that is removed - for remote refurbishment...
I own a toyota avensis myself and you don't have remove the front bumpy to change the light bulbs. this fellow is just going over the top with it..He is probably not open minded hahaha
This process is not to change the headlight bulb, but to replace the whole projector unit inside the headlamp, a common problem on older toyota avensis models
I could have done it for you in two mins and without the exorcist music... But thanks anyway
