    Beautiful documentary Alhamdulilah. I'm inspired. However, I wish the judges were more kind and understanding towards the non-arabic speaking competitors... i felt so bad at the way they treated djamil and my heart broke when his eyes started to fill with tears. Kindness, understanding, and gentleness is a virtue The QURAN teaches us. Memorizing Quran is one thing, yet KNOWING Quran and applying it's teachings and becoming a human form of Quran is another thing.

      Yes, this documentary was well-made and was informative. I am not Muslim, but I am Messianic (Christian). I also felt sad for dear Djamil when he tried hard to recite the Koran, but couldn't comprehend the judges. It is a virtue to memorize a large amount of text that can help you live a more righteous and virtuous life when you apply it. According to Paul (or, Shaul in Hebrew) the apostle, wrote that all scripture is breathed by Elohiym (Almighty or God in Hebrew) and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for straightening, and for instruction in righteousness that the man of Elohiym might be fitted equipped for every good work. Paul was an apostle of Yahusha ha'Mashiaḥ (Jesus or Isa the Anointed Messiah in Hebrew) who originally persecuted the assembly of followers of Yahusha by putting them into prison and killing many of them until he saw Yahusha in a vision. Yahusha appeared to Paul as he was on his way to Damascus to persecute more believers of Yahusha. Yahusha blinded Paul and told him that Paul was persecuting Yahusha. Paul received orders from Yahusha to meet a disciple who would heal him of his blindness and be baptized into the Name of Yahusha. Paul was a Pharisee of the Yahudiym (Jews in Hebrew) and he became one of the most prolific apostles who spread the teachings of Yahusha throughout much of the Roman Empire to the point of death because he believed in the death, burial, and resurrection of Yahusha ha'Mashiaḥ. Yahusha called Himself the Bĕn (Son in Hebrew) of Elohiym and the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and no one can come unto the Father except by Him. The Scriptures say that all have sinned and fallen short of the esteem (or, glory) of Elohiym and the wages of sin is death, but the gift of everlasting ḥai (life in Hebrew) is through Yahusha ha'Mashiaḥ our Aḏon (Master in Hebrew). The Scriptures also say that there is no forgiveness of sins without the shedding of blood. There are no more animal slaughterings for the forgiveness of sins as the Hĕyḵal (Temple in Hebrew) has been destroyed in Yerushalayim (Jerusalem in Hebrew). The Romans destroyed this Hĕyḵal so there is no way to atone for sins yearly during Yom ha'Kippurim (Day of Atonements in Hebrew) except that Yahusha was the ultimate slaughtering and He died for our sins and was buried and on the third day, He rose again from the grave and was seen by the disciples and hundreds of witnesses and He ascended to sit at the right hand of the Father in the shamayim (heavens or skies in Hebrew) and He is coming back quickly to judge the world in righteousness. Please, repent (turn) from sin and believe in the Gospel (Good News) that Yahusha is the Bĕn of Elohiym and He died for your sins and rose again from the grave and then be immersed (or, baptized) in the Name of Yahusha ha'Mashiaḥ for the remission of sins and you shall receive the gift of the Ruaḥ ha'Qodesh (Holy, Set-apart Spirit in Hebrew). This a promise to you and your children and to as many as YHWH (YaHUaH) our Elohiym shall call. YaHUaH is the Name of the Father and the Name of Yahusha means Yah is Salvation. Read the Scriptures (First Covenant or Old Testament and the Renewed Covenant or New Testament) and ask for revelation of the truth by the Ruaḥ ha'Qodesh in the Name of Yahusha, amĕn (so be it). If you would like to watch encouraging documentaries on a modern life as a disciple of Yahusha, you may watch these at TLRmovie.com and you can explore around the website as well for teaching resources and get connected with other disciples.

Dont listen to the Egyptian media guy or the organizer he has to keep the moderate act for the secular gov since the ministry is part of the gov. Basic Islamic teachings and practices you can do easily in the west is called 'fundamentalism' by secular Muslim govs. Even the so called former president of Maldives and the Tajikistani gov they all say the same thing because they dont want their hold on power to fall. Beautiful documentary, answering the critics who criticise recitation being in Arabic. There is a certain rhythm and euphonious sound that is achieved when recited in Arabic that is not possible in transliterated forms.
    How unfortunate it is though that a blessed girl like Rifdha has been burdened with such a father. To compensate for his own wrongdoings in a "past life", he thinks by chaining his daughter to the stove will absolve him of his own sins. He is what I'd label a top trumps Muslim; one who believes that Islam is about gaining points and checking of items in a list. The garment thing is miniscule compared to being a good person in general. Instead of producing sound bites that Muslims should learn to follow the Qur'an, he should heed his own advice.

      The general rules is that the person who has memorized the most Koran should lead the prayer so more Quran is heard ......when we pray we recite chapter first and then you can recite any verse you want from Quran.....you can recite from any chapter long short 1 verse or 50 verses it depends on what the leader want to recite ..during Ramadan the entire Quran is recited over a period of 30 days

    Excellent documentary. Amazing how those children and teens could memorize Quran, mostly the non-Arabic speakers. But I was sad about Rifdha's situation. Her father should reflect about his ideas regarding her future. If men and women are equals, Rifdha should have the right to become what she wants, she should have the right to pursue her dreams, mostly because she wants to be educated and have a profession, a career. That's very dignifying.

      She actually continued to receive both her religious and academic studies in the Maldives so her father didn't only make her study the Quran or reflect his 'ideas' on her.

      Bro in Islam men and women are equal in the sight of God except by righteousness, however they are different as they have different rights and responsibilities so dont take western take on it when Muslims say that.

    I wont judge Rifdahs father, Allah showed him the path guided him back to Islam. But he needs to open his mind more First female to accept islam Khadijah (RA) was businesswoman first University was established by a Muslim women scholar. After marriage he can't decide for her its upto his husband. May Allah (swt) bless and guide Rifdahs family.
    Nabiollah Recitation was so good I cried, Djamil presevered during recitation he may get lower number but Allah gave him dobule reward inshaAllah for his strugle.
    May Allah (swt) grant all of us to learn Quran, May Allah (swt) grant all of them and elevate their rank in Jannah.
    Ameen

    allahumma bariklahum... may Allah azza wa jal make all these kids carry the Light of Quran to the next generations of Muslims. I appreciate the father of Rifdha for being well informed of his religion. Certainly, Allah azza wa jal has assigned each creation its due provisions and we who have complete trust in Allah azza wa jal and has the certainty that He Alone knows best for His creation. The best career for a woman is to be of service to her nation, and this can be done if she is at home molding her children to become better Muslims of the future. teaching them the very foundation of our religion. May Allah subhanahu wa ta ala keep us firm and steadfast as Muslims and cause us to die in the state of Islam- complete submission to His will.

      @bv eh . One could say the judges are grumpy old men harsh on the little Senegali or being black. I however, see it differently,; the kid/contestants are disadvantaged, who don’t speak Arabic. You would expect a huge global competition like this will have seamless translators on site. They could do better. Sadaqallahul azeem for the recitations.

    • @petittall557
      @petittall557 4 роки тому +6

      @@COO415 The logistic was bad. They needed translators and counselors for the kids. Also Djamil didn't talk to his parents for 10 days plus he was surrounded by people different from him. All of these are psychological traumas that a 10 yers old cannot handle all by himself.

    My only two criticism are: First for such a big competition, there should be people there to help the reciters. Not everyone knows Arabic. A translator should be helpful. And the other is Rifdah’s father, his views is not right, his préception on Islam is strange…
