- Himachal Pradesh turns white each winter and road trips at this time become a bit too adventurous. But when you have the capable Ford Endeavour by your side, reaching higher elevations, even at places like Chitkul, in Sangla valley, is an easy task.
Here is my experience of doing the Shimla - Kalpa - Chitkul circuit with other Ford Endeavour owners at a time when roads were under snow. The owners, part of the FINDERS group, turned out to be individuals who have a similar passion for discovering more. It's a long video but do watch it till the end - the more you watch, the better views you will get to see ;)

Beautifully captured Vlog, loved the views and the snow. The narration of the journey has been brilliant too! Ford Endeavour seems to be a beautiful companion for such soulful journeys.
Interesting to note that snow mode was good enough to drive through the terrains. How did the automatic gearbox function throughout the journey, especially steep climbs and descents? And any advice on endeavour taking the Spiti and Ladakh terrains? Hats off for a brilliant vlog.

@@Ford-Explorer606 rock solid, 1,00,000 Kms in 4+ years and still not a single rattle noice. It roar just like new one. Driven it on almost all surfaces, even hit Leh, Himachal and Spiti too. Zero maintenance, not a single penny paid extra than for paid services. On an average I paid Rs 6,500 in all my 10 paid services on an internal of 10K kilometres. Last service of 1,00,000 km done in just Rs. 6,400. Very cheap to maintain even cheaper than my Polo. 1,00,000 Kms and still it fills that it will last for years and years. It's not only hassle less but also age less too. Proud owner of it since it was launched in 2016 and very first 3.2L 4x4 Titanium of Surat. Today I feel more than satisfaction as I ditched Fortuner and selected this and now I feel my decision was true.

@@kliksolutions ford people are a little dull in terms of arranging these type of great commercial and most of the owners don't take there beasts for such amazing trip which is slightly sad 😢.

Low 4wd is not a good action in snow especially in all Diesel engines.
I guess nature shouldn't be fiddled with....same has happened at atul tunnel....locals dont like much of a disturbance....
