Forgot about Trials For Navigator. I think the next one should have x3 Emperor's Blades back to back.
Also forgot the cooperative game mode in Originium Dust. Not like it deserve a good review. but i would love to see more polished iterations of that one.
CC is my favorite endgame mode. What I don't like is the timecrunch during CC (you have to clear a map with certain conditions every day to get the maximum rewards), I think it would profit massively from a looser structure similar to IS (no time limit, you can choose what maps, buffs, debuffs etc).
My second favorite modes are Annihilation, but as you said the time you have fun with it is pretty limited, you basically solve it once (maybe optimize once more) and then you are done with the mode until the next stage comes out, which is fun, but not very efficient for developers.
IS is a very mixed bag for me, I like how they make different operators viable, and I totally understand how randomization makes something more interesting, but as someone that like to tinker and optimize strategies I hate how unpredictable the mode is. If you fail, you can't optimize anything because your next run will probably look very different, with different artifacts and operators. It is great if you like thinking on your feet with constantly changing parameters, but it is not for me.
Reclamation Algorithm has very cool ideas, but how it plays out is completely backwards. The start is incredibly bad (and the tutorial is horrendous) and somehow they designed it that the mode gets more and more automatic the more you play it. So while normal game modes get harder to challenge the more experienced player, somehow they throw the newbie into the shark invested waters, while the experienced players just cruise over the same water in their gold plated yacht. It makes no sense.
Oh yeah, and SSS is just a throwaway mode. I think people wouldn't hate it as much if they didn't lock module stuff (and some medals for completionists) behind that gamemode.
So what I like are difficult maps I can sink my teeth into (btw something the normal game also gives you, but strangely restricts by only giving you 10-30 training tries per day for some reason) and solve over multiple days, with no time limit and no significant things locked behind it, so that I can try and optimize to my hearts content whenever I have the time and interest to do so.
I think you should review about other experimental game mode like Interlocking Competition and Multivariate Cooperation.
I never experienced those events so I got no comment. lol
I like SSS but only because I always go with random operators instead of my powerful operators
but definitely I like IS more
Reclamation Algorithm has a lot of potential, and I'd like it a lot better if it didn't lag out my phone like crazy. The weather effects are fun, attacking enemy raids over and over outside of the base is fun, feels like it's just got a few key flaws that need to be ironed out
You don't really need to play IS1 since it's good point and memorial stage already inherited by IS2 and IS3.
Maybe just lobby theme and ending lore. but that can be youtube.
