Doesn't matter what D.R. believes ... Cashless society is exactly where we're headed.

Heading*
Nice to see so many other Dave Ramsey fans here in the comments who are also red-pilled about... Current Events.
Not in the US. Freedom is parroted more here than anywhere else in the world. Cashless means they know how much you make, where you got it from, exactly how much you owe on taxes, what you spend your money on and so on. It’s a huge loss of freedom, plus the Govmt can control you to a point it can shut you down from paying or receiving money if you don’t conform to a certain agenda ( looks scarily similar to the mark of the Beast if you ask me)
The problem with a cashless society is that it takes too much control away from the individual consumer.
They could put money into your account then take it out as well. Banks would go negative interest then you would have to work for the rest of your life
That’s the point
Agreed. I happen to use a debit card for most purchases, but more often I’ve been finding cafés that don’t accept cash. Every time I’ve come across this, I walked away without giving them business out of principle.
@@leadnsteel1428 if the banks go negative interest on loans, wouldn't they be paying you to borrow money? I'd borrow a lot if that were the case.
How does it take the control away? You aren’t forced to spend your money things. lol what a dumb thing to say
Two years later and Finland has a cashless society. Finland is just the start.
I googled. Wrong. Norway is closest to being cashless, with 2% of the population still using cash. Everyone has a bank account. In Finland 95% of the people still use cash, not all the time but regularly.
"It's not what you know that gets you in trouble, it's what you know that ain't so." My Dad. Although I suspect he lifted it from someone else.

Dave - there is a massive push towards a cashless society. It's real. It's not conspiracy.
Aaamen. And it's prophecied in the bible. So there is something about it. Sometimes I just don't understand Dave.
@@theforeigner6988 ummm....no, a cashless society isn't prophesied in the bible. Where are you getting that?
@@Angela-ne9cyno? OK. It could be possible though, read Revelation chapter 13 and make your conclusion.

It doesn't really matter if it's cashless or not. The currency you hold is useless without the mark. Now it's very plausible to say digital money would be the best way to control who does what. Very naive to just dismiss this as "Conspiracy Theory", a cashless society is not out of the realm of impossible in the future.
Realm of possibility *****
But a coin shortage due to decreased production and increased processing is not suddenly going cashless. I think it may happen in the future, but it's not happening right now.
Josh Maday it is happening .... o.o ..... a lot of places in Cali don’t accept cash .....
@@lt.generalofsalt4273 Did you not read the words "coin shortage" man you people are dense

One more point: I was at Whole Foods yesterday, Sunday, 8-2-20. They are no longer accepting cash. CVS is out of coins and cannot make change. Wendy’s restaurant reports the same. That was several weeks ago about coin change. As of 8-2, no more cash accepted at While Foods near Raleigh, NC. Please research, it’s NOT a conspiracy...It’s a FACT!!!!
Yes. Thank you. I work at a Kroger and we can't even order any coin. Our bank we order from is completely out, our vault is out, only change we have are in the tills. If we give out change all of it will be out by the end of the day.
i think we need physical cash. I want something that’s untraceable and private. (to a certain degree)
Good point.
@G M True. Cashless means they can tax EVERY TRANSACTION. have fun paying tax on every craigslist deal, etc.
Exactly. That’s why they don’t want us to have cash.
Exactly why everyone, and I mean EVERYONE should use duck duck go as their browser. Get the extension for chrome, Firefox or any other browser and most, if not all, of your browsing is private and encrypted.
Exactly the reason why it's removal is being sought. With cash it's not possible for government to track spending, much harder to lock you into banks, negative interest rates become less workable and bank bail in can be avoided.
I don't care what Dave says, we are going cashless whether he likes it or not, its only a matter of time. The shortage of coins is only the beginning, they already have this all planned out.

Great point Mike J. Cashless Society is coming!
when some stores removed cash as an option, we stopped going there....when my employer took cash away from the cafeteria, I stopped buying items from it. Dollars drive decisions, but lack of them tells the business a story as well. Sales plummeted from the cafeteria because I was not the only one to stop using it, so they brought cash back. Small wins, but I will be hard pressed to stop using cash anytime soon. It has helped my family stay focused and in budget for years now.
Your job must have an older workforce. Most millennials or gen z would definitely pick paying on a debit card over cash. Apple pay and Google Pay are becoming more popular every year. I don't know anything about the article you're referencing here and I'm sure you didn't write it. However, rest assured that "cash", as in paper and metal coins, is going away. National governments are moving toward digitizing their currencies, especially with the advent of blockchain. There will be a point in the near future where "cash" will no longer be issued or accepted. You might be able to barter with food, gold, silver or corn for that matter, but the concept of cash money in your pocket is going to go away.
With that, the governments will be able to track everything you spend so that they know what you buy and how to tax you. There will also be some bad governments that could turn off your access to digital money if you don't toe the line. Think China with its social credit scoring system.
I like Dave and his message but he is very uninformed or naive about the transformation that is taking place in our financial system. It won't be long before every single transaction in our economy will be digitized and tracked. Write down the date of this comment.
You are correct.

WITH CONSTANT TECHNOLOGICAL IMPROVEMENTS, CASHLESS IS INEVITABLE 🔥🔥🔥
Not necessarily. Most transients and other low impoverished groups do not have bank accounts and must use cash. There was a New York lawsuit that ruled that cash could not be banned due to the transients and impoverished groups. Many of these people who have jobs get a physical check and get it cashed or get paid cash directly. There are too many legal strings that have to be tied before cashless would be allowed. Not saying it wont happen, but it would have some serious liberty questions that need to be resolved and might not get resolved until socialism takes america.

Also, any dollar, metal or crypto can become worthless if others deem it so, knowledge and skill has unlimited value.
They sound in denial. It’s going to happen but we need alternatives. (Gold,Silver, Crypto, commodities).
Dave is old school. 75 years ago no one thought you would be able to swipe a plastic card attached to your checking account with digits going up and down. Now, we are entering the digital age. Gold or cash would be hard to move in large sums, but with digital money/crypto currency, you can literally purchase a home/plane/land etc... with a key note and or USB port.
Wait until a computer hacker stole money from your bank account or taking over it. Because younger generations do not how to protect their data from criminals.
Cash makes people accountable for spending. They feel the pain instantly if they can physically touch their money and watch it go. People will second guess every transaction, and are more likely to appreciate the purchase. If all you see is a number on a screen, you have no real connection with your money. Thus causing you to potentially spend more. The sad reality is people that share the same values I share, are dwindling. Sad sad world we live in. "Trendy Technology" is ruining basic values, hence why everyone is so keen on keeping up with the "jones's". This is exactly why I live in the boonies!

Businesses don’t love credit cards, there’s a transaction fee. It’s more for the ease of the consumer and the business doesn’t have to keep cash on site, so it’s less a security risk for them.
It will if the government bans the use of cash. Everything else has gone digital in our society what makes cash any different!
A cashless society means total control of us peons by the political bosses. Hello, Big Brother!
I've been in my own "cashless" society for 10 years now. My wallet has $0 in it at the moment, and I have probably average about $10 a year. My kids have GoHenry cards. We load money on them for doing their chores. I don't care about cash, and I'm not afraid of debt. Debt is the reason have 3 rental properties in 5 months. Cash flowing over $800 without lifting a finger. I'll have 10 properties by the beginning of next year. You can stay in the stone ages all you want to.
My credit card is there for efficiency. When I need to make repairs to my properties I do so with a credit card and my business enjoys a 3% rebate. It's common sense, and Dave Ramsey will not make me feel ashamed of that. My transactions get done faster and my tenants appreciate it.
I use my credit cards as a tool to save money on my personal and business expenses. Not to get rich. My vendors don't accept cash, and if they are going to take plastic, then I'm going to get something back.
I have to buy and eat groceries....so I might as well get something back.
I'm a UK bus driver and on our services passengers have the choice to pay by card (contactless) or cash. Probably 70% pay by card now but my colleagues and me would love it if cash on our services was a thing of the past and I'm sure in the next years it will be.
Revelation 14
9 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.” 12 Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.
How can we be so arrogant that we believe that nothing can change, that all things can remain the same? No one is making this up. It was written in the bible centuries ago. You may always have cash in your wallet, but if and when things change in the world, you either won't be here to see or experience it or it will be of no use to you when the world says so.
It does not matter if he believes it or not. Is happening and with the way technology changes society every generation we will be heading that way eventually.
