I'm still using this one and for some reason, it hasn't broken me out?! Is it the type of dimethicone used? No clue. I'm stumped. What do you think of this foundation? The full scorecard is right here: bit.ly/3uzP0lh 💜 thanks for watching!
Thank you, Britt for another lovely review. This one just made it to the top of my foundation wish list. Blue was peaking out behind you trying to have a moment. ❤ Furry family members and good foundations make the mornings bright. 🙂
I bought this foundation because it doesn't have any pore clogging ingredients, and I loved it at first. However, I realized that over time it really sensitized my skin (and rosacea) and broke me out. Ever since I've stopped using it, my skin has been better. Such a bummer, because I had high hopes!!
They both look very similar and nice on you but I'm an ingredient nerd I guess and I would between the both of them pick fitglow since I just won't do dimethicone or any "cones" for that matter. The prices on foundation are getting ridiculous. I'm kind of surprised the Rose foundation was leaping bunny certified......surprised at that one for sure. If Juice Beauty goes up anymore I'll be hunting for a new less expensive one. It's crazy out there! Thanks for the comparison. Be careful though with dimethicone. It builds up and accumulates in your body and then it goes on attack. That was my experience years back.
Right? They were pretty close. Agree. And I get it re: ingredients, that’s absolutely why I wanted to include the comparison! Ummmm yes, prices are nuts. It’s crazy to do updates to products I tried a couple of years ago that have gone up almost double digits with little to no changes in formula. Not great- honestly before I started testing I hardly ever wore foundation! Often times I’ll try tinted spf and concealer. But love to share the reviews so here I am 💜🤷🏻♀️😁
I am an oily gal and I adore this foundation. It’s not cakey, it lasts well, and it really sits well on my textured skin. I truly feel like this foundation is underrated.
Thank you, Chelsearose for your comment. I am an oily gal with textured skin. Knowing it didn’t cake on you is super helpful to me. The battle of the polka dot pores is so real for us as well. If you don’t already know this, the lightest dusting of a vey finely milled powder before applying foundation makes a huge difference - like using or not using toothpaste when you brush your teeth level of league of differences.
@@Catherine-lr3el yesssss!! I think you’d really like this tho!! It’s an investment but it’s becoming one of my holy grails! I’d definitely get a sample at Sephora if you can! Also the danessa myricks blurring balm powder in universal has forever changed my makeup game!! It has dimethicone so idk if you’re into that but it’s the only product that keeps me matte and I swear it under ALL my silicone foundations! Thanks for the tips! Us oily gals need to stick together! 🤣
@@chelsearose7655 The one and only Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin Blurring Balm with upsalite! You bet I know about it! It is one of the very few products that makes a real difference for oily, textured skin. If I could only have a few products this would be one of them. I try to stick to clean and simple products but when something works so well, I have to cheat. 🥂🙂
All rose inc products ever gave me were just the pretty packaging. My skin didnt agree with her products and they were difficult to work with. Ive tried the first tinted serum that failed terribly. Now i saw this review, im intrigued
You mention that you love the 11a primer. I googled it and can't find it! Is 11a the brand name? Could you please put a link in the comments section so I, and others, can try the primer? Thank you Britt. 0:02
Feels like a more subtle coverage to me- it’s hard to explain. But this had a stronger “melt” into skin for me. Still a fan of RDF, but it gave a teeny bit more texture on my skin re:finish (settling into pores, but very very minimal).

You’re so welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting. Yes, Blue has a way of finding her “moment” lol

That IS a bummer.thanks for sharing that info- sorry you went through it. I will keep an eye on how my skin holds up over the next few weeks. 💜

Thanks for sharing this! Appreciate it, happy to hear it’s working.

That one didn’t work for me either! This has been the complete opposite so far- I’m watching my skin to see how things go with the dimethicone!

She said it so fast, even when I rewound I didn’t quite catch it. Gotta know though.
Ohhhh sorry for the delay but I think I was referring to the Eleven spf that I use to prep and it acts as a “primer” kind of!
How would you say this compares to the MOB Beauty foundation? It also has medium coverage and a soft matte finish.
Lighter weight, more “melting into skin” with finish, a bit more glow compared to MOB. Keep in mind I’m a fan of both 💜
I'm wearing the Ritual de Fille foundation and really like it. How would you compare it to that?

Didn't they sell to a Hong Kong company? I wanted to try this brand, but figured it was no longer cruelty free. I will have to research it more.
I haven’t followed the details on the sale so need to dig a bit as well. Thanks for the heads up!
Looks like they were sold Dec. 2023 to AA investments - a Hong Kong company
Does the rose inc have denat alcohol in it?
