I love this scene. The music, Regina realizing that she will have her magic back after thinking it was all over for her, Rumple telling Bela that magic is power.
You can see in Rumple’s face at just how *happy* he is to hear Belle’s voice but also how *terrified* he is given their parting in the Enchanted Forest. It’s only when she confirms that she *still* loves him that he finally goes back into his course. For that one, horrifying moment, he’s afraid he’s truly lost her… and he hasn’t. At this moment, he can get everything. The woman he loves and the magic he needs (and loves) to find his son. In this one moment, this one, shining moment, he has *everything*.
It depends on the characters for me. I like Rumple and Regina's development. And I guess Henry too. David didn't really changed. But he was okay for me. Hook acted like he evolved but he didn't and fooled everyone. Wish Hook on the other hand truly evolved because of Alice. Zelena was insane. I only liked her in season 7. We have Belle who at first was awesome but she had to keep Rumple to hurt people who truly deserved it. Which led to those people to create more problem. Like what kind of sane woman would insist that their boyfriend do not get revenge on that one woman who locked you up in an asylum, and/or would get upset with him because he acted upon it anyway. Also she seemed completely stupid and crazy, she continuously jumped to the worst conclusion and kept doing the stupidest decisions ever and thus put herself and Gideon in danger for no reason. And finally we have two great characters who became awful that I couldn't even bring myself to look atthem anymore, Emma and Snow.
@@SchultzDorinda I think Rumple character development is totally great from season 1 to season 3A. His death was so special. Then he was brought back in season 3B and his development went backwards until season 7... Totally bad. In my opinion his arc should've ended after he saved everyone from Peter Pan.
Totally agree! Season 1 - perfect Season 2 also perfect until Cora‘s death Season 3A - perfect ending for the show Season 3B - 6 okay but not good Season 7 - trash

The later seasons had bad writing. In seasons 1-3A it was stated that Rumple invented the curse which makes total sense because he created a way to cross realms to find his son. Just in season 4 they changed the story into the black fairy creating it and Rumple just stealing from her. It makes no sense. Why would she create such a thing. Seasons 1-3A were consistent at least. Therefore I would say true love is the strongest magic in all worlds. The fountain brings back things that were once lost. It’s basically a sprinkle of the lake from the lady of the lake which Cora throw the ashes of the wardrobe in to get to storybooke. Since the fountain is the same, Gold threw the strongest magic in it so that it‘ll return the magic into the town
@onceuponatime2.051 Black Fairy created the curse to banish all other children whom she believed would kill Rumple according to the prophecy. Rumple stole the scroll from the place Blue hid it after she banished the Black Fairy.

I think they only brought him back because of how popular he was. He was my favorite until Regina’s redemption arc.
Rumple in that devilish tone and Regina's smirk make this scene lol. Also Henry always knew magic was trouble.
Maybe I'm just as dark as Rumple, but I would have done anything to have magic too! I was cheering in this scene! YES!
