Great history, bought my first Buck knife in 1970 and have used multiple Buck knives ever since.
I received a folding buck knife with a leather sheath for my 9th birthday in 1980. I wore it on my belt everywhere but school. I grew up in Norco California (Horse town USA) so I was always cutting hay wire or leather. I still have it today.
A faithful friend
I also grew up in norco class of 85.
After years of collecting, I finally bought the BUCK 120 General. What a great knife; razor sharp right out of the box.
One of my favorites. I do wish they’d open it up to greater options like the 119.
Very interesting! Thanks for showing.
You are very welcome
Bought my Kalinga back in 1983. I still have the presentation box, paper work and receipt. Carried it when hunting, up until the mid 90's, when I more or less stopped hunting. I miss hunting, I always liked the meat :) Knife did well when skinning deer and antelope.
It’s also a very unique blade shape. I’d eventually like to add one to my collection
Chuck Buck was a good guy….
Fabulous. Thank you for sharing this. Makes you wonder how many of those early knives are still out there.
With something this interesting it has to be shared. Very happy to know that you enjoyed it.
I have a couple of customs from the 80s with the mammoth handles. So I guess Leroy is the one that made them.
Very cool 😎
Hay one of them is Damascus and it says Deano on the bottom maby you can shead some light on that name.
I have ten buck knives. 9 of the 100 line sheath knives. Five of which where purchased before 1988. And of course I have a 110 Folding hunter :) I wonder if I qualify for the collectors club :)
You should definitely join
très bonne vidéo et surtout les buck knife sont les meilleurs couteau du monde selon moi.
I am very happy that you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching
bring back the Buck 442, the original BUCK LITE.......
I liked seeing that Phrobis ‘003’ 1st Generation Chevron M9 and the prototype Buckmaster when I was there. The gentleman glossed over the military section too quick to see ‘em.
I think that their military involvement should be more highlighted. Can’t let KaBar take all the credit.
Okay, I seem to have a rare knife in my Buck knife collection. The Buck 620 Campmate. Basically the Buck 120 General with a Kraton handle and a nylon sheath with plastic liner. Oh, and last year I bought an actual Buck 120 General. Yes I'm a Buck-a-roo! :)
That would be a cool knife to see
@haveaknifeday Okay, I will put out a video later this week of my full Buck knife collection. Stay Tuned.

@buck knives
I don’t know if you still are building good knives but to me the buck knife is a criminal crime. Do you want the best of the best you get a buck knife you know the buck knives the best because when you got one, they’re always stolen by your hunting buddies.
@buck knives
Horrible place to work
