Maybe nothing has been set in stone yet because Oscar is worried that Chuck might not pass the pre-fight physical. Most commissions require much more in-depth physical testing for fighters over 40 (35 in some states). So he would have to have a normal physical..plus brain and heart scans..etc). Chuck has seemed a little punch for the last decade... Maybe that is an issue.

Chael I admit having limited knowledge of your business up front, but might it be that he is using the same formula, but to a different end? Could he be using the news of the signing to create more momentum for other, or even specific, mma fighters to sign with him. For example if I was hoping to attract someone like yourself, might it be in my interest to sign other fighters you know and respect? Again I don't know much about your business, so forgive any glaring ignorance I might be showing.
Main even should be Liddell vs Ortiz 3. Co main Couture vs Rich Franklin. Chris Leban vs Josh Koscheck. Vitor Belfort vs Sobral. BJ Penn vs Baroni. Not sure if any of those guys would even want to fight anymore but I think that would be about as good a card as Oscar can get. UFC and Belator have all the big name fighters under contract. I think they have some of the fighters I named under contract as well but it’s all I could think of. Definitely going to be hard getting a card together. Go Liddell!!

No it’s not that boxers are Tougher the boxer Only focuses on boxing 🥊 Hand movement head movement etc. there’s no takedowns there’s no arm bars There’s no leg kicks etc. etc. so the MMA fighter has to go through much more tougher training then the boxer. So the MMA fighter is more prone to injuries during training. Apples and oranges.
Boxing is far tougher than MMA. Professional boxers conditioning is usually at a much higher level than that of MMA.
