Carlos, fantastic demonstration video. The microscope proof of before and after is something that no other detailer has done so well done. I do think that the experiment would’ve been better if you polished different parts of the hood and not the same spot over and over so that you get a clean section of clear coat to be removed instead of a section that already has product and has been polished. But that’s just my two cents. Thank you for putting this video together!
Just used one of these this past weekend on a 23 hour exterior color sand and buff and only used 2 wools and 2 finishing foams and it came in SUPER HANDY!!!! Well worth it on big jobs!

You are right that the cost is prohibitive for some folks. I'm a hobbyist so I still just use the brush method, but I like the idea of using less pads and having them all clean at the end of the detail. Some say that you don't have to buy as many pads because you only need a couple pads to polish out a whole car. I haven't heard anyone else mention the stress on the pad, which I think is an interesting point. Probably a person would have to do a longer term study to see how long a pad lasts. Anyway, great video and thank you.

The clearcoat fills the pores, so it is good to have multiple pads, to work clean. I think the pad washer will save money and pads basically for the price of the pad washer you can only buy 12 ish pads depending on price. Great video!! I also heard that the blow out method will slowly break down the open cells in the pads. Im not sure how long that takes to happin, just wanted to mention that. Keep up the videos man!!

I’ve used the vortex on all my pads the last few years but Cesar (aka pad queen 😂) doesn’t really care for me blasting his pads when I’m working with him. For businesses yes you go through a lot of pads but weekenders and enthusiasts it's to expensive. Maybe go with grit guard pad cleaner. Chelsea at A2D just relased her vid on this pad cleaner minutes before you did.
#Iwantit Impressive how well it works. I don't think I would pull the trigger on something like this unless work really picks up. I like the comparison with compressed air especially. I tend to spray my pads before polishing, this would help lubricate the pads as you clean. Very nice!
I want one.. I need one.. I can clean all my pads and not go to the laundromat and ruin my neighborhood clothing. Otherwise everyone will be walking around with pad marks on their backside and don’t know why.🥹

I wouldn't even bother with a pad washer. Buy enough pads and just change them out while polishing a vehicle. Take them home and clean them later on.
