Mahabharath means war between relatives itself for which Lord Krishna himself provoked Arjuna and participated himself! In present context who are Kauravas and who are Pandavas ? This question lingers in the mind of every common man ! So I feel instead of MAHABHARATHA , the word BHRATH will suffice to express so called patriotism!
We can ‘include’ but the other will never. A Chimera until ‘the other’ changes. And for now that seems nigh impossible. The ‘other’ won’t care about this message. This message hasn’t changed in the last 1200 years. But ‘the other’ always took advantage. And now the land is splintered externally and internally. I prefer we become strong, mighty, (from within and without) and the other may come around. Follow the message of Krishna. Not this one.
this is such a contradicting message. before I address it, let me tell you something. India (in spiritual sense) is not a geographical place anymore. It is the origin and the final destination, but not geographically anymore. you can be on the other side of the world, but if you are on spiritual path, chances are, that you are in India inside. On the other hand you can be born in India and live there all your life, and yet, you might be a New Yorker. Where exclusiveness starts? with your family. What is the nation? extended family. As long as you belong to any of those, forget about inclusiveness. once you utter these words - our nation - you are exclusive/bias rendering yourself as nationalist with agenda. What is "our"? What is "nation". empty words. just labels without a substance. isn't that ironic, that India wants to get where the west countries are, and west countries are trying to get where India once was? Both attempts are futile. You can get there, sure, but what would be the outcome? Hybrids, that are not pretty. Nation can never help humanity, never had and never will. It is up to you and me as an individuals who belongs to this Planet, not as someone wrapped in the flag. India rejected Buddha, it was too much even for such spiritual environment to swallow his teachings. No Atman? everything is empty? Too much. Did any Master in all Human history belong to a nation? no. He might have speak their language and address their traditions, so he could communicate, but as per definition, Master is the one who doesn't belong anywhere, hence he belongs to everywhere. Anything else is a red flag for me. Is this a real Master? How would I know the difference? Trust me, I've learned the hard way.
