- Today I got a can of Solo "Smoke Sabre" smoke detector tester. I figured I'd bring it to my house and test out our smoke detectors as I have never actually tested them. Also, as I mention in the video, my house is in the final stages of being rebuilt, and hopefully we will move back in in a couple months. When I move back in, you will notice more content on my channel due to me having my own room again rather than having to share a room with my family at my grandparents' house, and having my own yard again (I'll let you have fun guessing what I will add in my backyard). Anyhow, enjoy!

The Test button: “am I a joke to you?” (But I’m all seriousness pretty cool seeing the smoke Sabre just whip out like that.)
The red solid means it was previously activated and is on silent mode. it will go off again if theres still smoke in its chamber
I love smoke alarms
They are to keep you safe
Keep making videos you might be famous
3:23 to 4:46 Exactly why I absolutely DO NOT recommend i4618AC’s.
Also 8:30 That indicates that the alarm is in hush mode. These FireX units can be weird. Most homeowners don’t realize this.
Yes might as well buy an i12040 or i12060. Heck even an i12080. But the rest of the alarms were god choices
PI9010 was the dual sensor ones and the smoke and co one is a Kidde KN-COPE-IC
And the solid red alarm is a Kidde i4618ac
It wasn’t a PI 9010 it was a PI 2010
8:04 that's how you say it
A new sub has entered the chat
i wonder what weird stuff causes the green hardwire indication light on the firex i4618 to be on the top?
That’s how it’s made
10:30 that means it is in "hush" mode. Just press the button quickly to stop it. Edit: it does that because it knows it isn't a fire. idk how it knows.
This just shows how much FireX i4618’s can age. I have these in my house and two of them the sensors failed and the one in my room was one of them and the interconnecting didn’t work either. Also that red light staying on like that means that either it previously detected smoke and it can also mean somebody pressed the test button. But the ones that the sensors worked went off pretty fast when I sprayed them with smoke
@random-tech-productionsThose and i12060A’s tend to have that really fast code three pulse. One of my BRK 4120B’s in my collection has that too
Thank you
the kidde i4618ac is in hush mode my kidde i12040a does that too
9:26 that means it is in hush mode
Nice video! You putting small sirens in your yard? Lol

@ian rodriguez the 9 year old he changed his channel name recently
@@SirenDude1003ya mentioned my old channel
2:33 there’s a hush button
Got no idea but I'm somehow super scared or shocked when my smoke detectors goes off
same
I just realised now you have 666 subs 😂😂😂
I know :():
Yeah
It blinks solid because it is telling you it tripped an alarm
@A-200OnYt it means that, though it also means it was recently active because hush mode has a timer
@A-200OnYt it’s fine. I don’t toy with smoke alarms but I do know simple stuff about them
I think the blinking light means that it has detected smoke and when it blinks, it tells you that that individual alarm detected smoke
I rmbr my little brother 5 yrs ago he was scared of the smoke alarm going to go off
I was in my kitchen I thought my smoke alarms were going off
How old were the Firex i4618AC’s at the time this video was filmed?
so you've got Duel sensor kidde alarms huh? man those things are a real pain in the neck and the ears.
😅😅😅😅no where are they going on a date
the long red flash on the alarm you were talking about, that means it was in hush mode
Liftmaster1280 It always happens at my aunties because she’s bad at cooking and the detector is 6 feet away
I have one of those
That alarm is broke
RIP ears at 0:47
What’s this
A smoke alarm video
3:23 That's why i hate those kidde i4618ac's so much
