If you think about it , what Ricky's done is make the guy laugh with him- there's no ill will- that's why the guy in the wheelchair appreciates it. The only thing banning certain groups from being joked about and not allowing them to be the material for comedy does is separate those people even further and turns it into "them and us". To achieve true equality and end segregation you have to completely abolish all boundaries and allow every person to be included in micky taking as well as praising. If a joke is done well(or the intention is coming from a good place) then there should be no such thing as "this is not allowed". Every person in that room understood the context and found it funny, no more so than the guy in the wheelchair. I hate how society often overlooks intent and context and focuses only on content.
