Great place and people. Been there several times for months at a time. English spoken widely.

I love Taiwan, it’s people, everything about it. I go often, stay for months. If you want Peking Duck, the best and most famous is Celestial Restaurant on Nanjing Road W. Upper floor (take the elevator) . Daiso is on the street, next door. Zhongshan District. There is too much to see and do. But it is a soulful experience where politeness and good manners are the norm. Street violence is rare, guns are prohibited. People are just plain nice and moral.
