I run a small company, i hired a Caucasian man n needed some material sent to my location. I’m from Texas I’m 1/4 Hispanic and by no means was my life as hard as my Grandpas was . With younger Hispanics to try to compare that to the struggle of African Americans is crazy . It’s one thing to be into urban black culture but to try to say it’s equal to that struggle is not true at all .

I remember my 10th grade English teacher taught me that racism is a poor persons mindset. It’s really classism at play a rich vs poor kind of thing. He was explain this to me cause I didn’t apply myself in school and he told/show me how he had his PhD but decided to teach high schoolers cause he felt that’s where a kid really decides what they will do for the rest of their life. Well his old college friends are working at top colleges and would shit on him. I’m finishing up my bachelors degree, getting ready to start my masters, and hopefully get my PhD. I can see it with my own eyes I’ll meet a little amount of other black people in school and talk about racism than turn around and shit on me for not being on a scholarship or not living on campus or even what field I go in

Because you can move up in class but still have racist ideologies upon you and what he is saying is contradicting because he’s talking about race to make his point to a certain race. Yes classism was established well before racism but racism was ascertained systematically over the years that would make far more wealth and replace classism ideally. Think about it like this if I don't like your race there's nothing you can do to make me push for your needs over mine hence segregation. But if I don't like your class there are still ways to commune hence the French Revolution.
