My Guy 💯
How many rich black people go back to the hood to buy land and improve the area tho.?? Maybe the role models in the black community are lacking because maybe they do not go back in the community.
Yall see the $100 million estate land that Tyler Perry owns but how much land in the hood with schools on it he actually owns.?
Cw should do an interview with daylyte
It’s crazy how so many ppl don’t like what cw be saying but the first one to listen and click on all his interviews and be offended or feel exposed when they feel like he talking to them lol
When I was in school the smart kids were literally laughed at and mocked for trying to do good. 🤦🏻♂️
Yup and I was one of them dumbazz mfers that called them lames because I thought I was better then them because I was sexually active by 12 and looked down on other boys for still being virgins or as I use to say scared of P**** but as a grown man I realize I was takin advantage of by an older women that I would have never touched and forced not to be scared of sex and I also realized the only reason why I got girls my age to give me there virginity was because I was a piece of shyt that had a attitude problem and a outlaw mentality then later on in life they ended up all telling me they were only attracted to me because I was a bad boy or in other words self destructive and they regret going after guys like me and I was never taught to express myself so I never got to the root of my traumas so I self-medicated with partying and messed up my life before it even started and I can say all those so called nerds probably live 10x better then me because their first experience with a girl was actually a girl they liked that liked them for positive traits instead of getting a girl that wants you because Chances are later on in life you'll be dead or in prison now I'm a 2x felon with nothing to lose and never had a child hood because my innocence was takin Early so my child hood is filled with regrets because I didn't have one thinkin I was a man but really I was just a traumatized lil boy that led the people that looked up to me down a dark path of emptiness but at least I was popular right😎😑🤦🏾♂️ if I could go back and hit them books and be a kid instead of going back and forth to juvenile adolescent homes for at troubled youth kicked out at 16 for thinking I knew everything on probation from 14 to 16 for truancy caught my first simple robbery at 16 was homeless alittle while later went to prison at 19 I was doomed from the beginning and didn't even know it I thought I was just having fun🤦🏾♂️
Its design like that
People get caught up in what someone did or said years ago or while in a immature state of mind. IF THEY’RE NOT A FACTOR IN YOUR PERSONAL LIFE DON’T WORRY ABOUT OTHERS OPINIONS.
As a forty year old black man I’ve started to distance myself from this nigga shit the best way I can. Sometimes you can’t avoid it but I’m learning that we are a fucked up and cursed people that love negativity. I have to make a change within myself for my young daughter because there’s not much hope out here.
yup
Many of us came up during the rough drug/crack era and were the first to make it to college and corporate with hardly any help. Now these kids have social media and the internet...so what are these folks' problems. They don't need family matters you can google how to start a business etc and access successful folks. That means it's a choice and a culture to behave like a Glorilla or these O-block rappers, so yeah I agree, time to separate for that mess.
setting kids up for the victim olympics
When I went to college and then to university no one celebrated it. No cakes, no parties, no family gathering. The indifference, the apathy, disappointed and disgusted me. So yeah, I definitely distanced myself. Stayed on campus and later setting myself apart in spirituality and faith.
You gotta be picky with the shows you watch it’s subconscious programming if you wanna be a happy peaceful person ONLY watch happy peaceful show or comedy ik it’s hard to find many shows but that just show how mental slavery runs
Wise young brothers speaking truth. I am a older 50s generational Black man. That grew up in a 2 parent family home I have a library of books, there was pride in our communities in the decades before and after the great Civil wars. Even after reconstruction Era when we as a people had nothing, but we built a great family structure, and worked hard. Our music was soft and romantic, not vicious and filled with nasty and evil words towards our women. The early gang culture started in Chicago in the late 50s, but there was even strong respect their also. Detroit underworld players and hustlers and King pins had a street code, keep our children out of their business. then after the riots in major cities, and after Martin Luther King, and Malcolm X were killed, and after the 80s rolled away. a Sidious spirit came forward in the Drug game, America allowed Crack cocaine to roll up in the hood, zombie and drug out fiends, and wide spread prostitution came, but the racist media and greed record companies ok this music to pumped to our young kids, gang banging- and slanging in the hood, to be ghetto rich, these young children say wow it cool to be like this. Being smart and a nerd is thought to be un cool in the hood, but where the upper bougie elite people, telling our children no ? instead they hid out in their upper status bracket, and allow racist media to peddle death to our children, and tell young and gifted- Black children, you can only be a thug, sport star, and rapper to make in our communities..
Facts. The black upper class was mostly invisible to me, except what I saw in the Cosby Show and some things I saw in Ebony and Black Enterprise magazines. I'm from Illinois and I imagined the Black college campuses and cities in the South had a better outlook and opportunity than the rest of us. The Black upper class comes from those HBCUs. But still, they did not have the dominant influence over Black America. Rap music and gang style subculture does. The church is also largely silent and hidden within their buildings.
Shitty parenting allows a ppl to decay bro. The problem is nobody wants to look at black parents they just wanna point all the bad influences as if it ain't a parents job to show their children better. Tf were blacks doing even being in white schools watching white TV and listening to music from white record labels anyway...mfs don't think they just look outside...
@@TheSecondAdam you’re both wrong and very stupid
Thank you for sharing your perspective and experiences. It is important to recognize the historical and systemic factors that have contributed to the challenges facing many Black communities today, including the impact of racism, poverty, and the War on Drugs. While there are certainly negative influences in some inner city neighborhoods, it is important to resist sweeping generalizations that paint all Black youth or communities with the same brush. There are countless examples of successful and accomplished Black people across a wide range of fields, and it is important to celebrate and uplift these individuals and their achievements. At the same time, it is also important to work towards creating more opportunities and resources for young people in underserved communities, and to address the root causes of inequality and injustice.
This is what politicians is supposed to be talking about.
It's not that simple. There are plenty of doctors and lawyers (like myself) who grew up in poverty and became successful. But, we are not celebrated. Instead, we are viewed as lames, squares and Uncle Toms because we value education and law abiding conduct.
We cannot "catch you in school," unless you are talking about grades K-5. By the time you reach middle school, you need to have a basic educational foundation. To be clear, one does not need to know everything by the time one reaches middle school, but you must have learned how to process information/formulas, and know the basics of math and science. The white and asian kids are receiving these core skills because their parents are pushing it. That's how I (and people who run in my circles) made it, not because we were born any different from any other poor kids in the hood. The hero you describe must be your parents. Jewish kids are not successful because some athlete inspired them. Their parents did that. So, let's take pride in our successful blacks and focus on our kids' grades, not their ability to know the lyrics of the hottest song. Those are the seeds that need to be planted.
the other part is u gotta keep the households together... marriage or co parenting healthy... our community fucked up cuz adults are selfish. the sense of duty once u have kids is gone... its moma gotta have a life too and papa a rolling stone. they dumb kids who cant read and comprehend well and are delusional thinking rap or sports or hustling gonna save them.
@@aneedkassim9727 Very true.

U might don’t like Charleston white but u don’t see any celebrities speaking real like he is I just know one thing if he could rap the gov would consider him as a threat I respect this man to the fullest💯
Faccs
There are a lot of people who can tell you how it is but black people are selective about it. Black people don't like niggas that pronounce words sharply or can articulate himself strongly. Mfs don't like to hear the truth. I'm bold and unforgiving with it and I hurt feelings because I can speak truth too
@OGLocfromLosSantos You right
@@bearlyphased 💯I’m the same way sometimes I can be to up from about something and don’t think twice after saying it like I’m not no rapper but I can rap I just do it as a hobby but when I rap I talk about real life stuff 2 Pac would love to hear I could care less about the money cars and hoes as they say cause I’m not in that type of life I come from the struggle and no matter what I got or able to get I still rather talk about raw reality of life but only if I took this rap seriously i would be considered as a threat to so yeah it’s only a few that stand up for something then fall for anything 💯

Watch your habits; they become character.; Watch your character; it becomes your destiny."
Profound
Wow
This brotha is truly being used by God to confront all of the negativity and evil within our community. 🙏🏾 He is what the black preacher and church should have been and even should be today, but they are NOT. I can't tell you how many times I've heard preacher say, "For God, I'll live, and for God, I'll die." All Lies! You have to be fearless to truly stand for God, and Charleston White is just that. If you're not willing to die to protect the sheep (in and out of the church), you're unfit to lead. This is a man I've come to have a tremendous amount of respect for. Peace and blessings bruh. 🙏🏾
I don’t see black preachers on the internet, using every cuss word in the book, chain smoking blunts, starting stuff with people and then call the police on them if they say something back. Hoping people kids go to jail and ect. That’s Cw. Then turn around and promote the same thing he criticize

This is powerful and so true. Intelligence is weakness now and ignorance is power
Born and raised in inner city New Orleans. We were nowhere near rich, but my mom drove a Porsche. Dad had a sports car. Uncles had sports cars, BMW’s and Benz’s. I always knew all of that was attainable. They gave me encouragement as a kid. Put in the work, treat people right, you’ll be fine. 10 minutes from my neighborhood were neighborhoods off Lake Pont. Million dollar mansions, luxury cars, etc. I saw it. I believed I could get it.
There were others near my neighborhood that were hopeless. Terrible parents. It really starts with your immediate surroundings. Those same people are still stuck at level 1. Blaming everyone but themselves or their families.
Wake up people. You can be from anywhere and make it. May be harder for you, but it can be done.
Nola needs the military at this point. Its not even a gang thing or respect thing anymore. They’ll shoot an old woman walking out the store just to see if the gun works
You must be from gentilly
@@gnice1465 yup. We lived in gentilly, but my fam is from the 9th ward. Lizardi street, to be exact.
@IamGrandMagus that’s not the point of my post at all. It’s tough anywhere if you from the streets or surrounded by people with that mindset. They have people in NYC, the Mecca, that think there’s no hope. 🤷🏽♂️ It’s easier in New Orleans because they don’t have the competition for positions like there is in NYC or LA.
@IamGrandMagus what’s funny?
It's so Sad listening to you guys speaking truths about our culture
Only The strong & Wise Will survive 💯💯
Not lying in the 90s growing up our shows like fresh prince, family matters, the Cosby show, a different world, living in Color, living single, good times, and so on. The 80s and 90s was a time of great TV as I remember it even on weekends it was designated for kids. Nowadays all we see is gangstas, the streets and shit like bad girls club. The shows we grew up with were more informational, loving, life lessons and cultural.
“My eyes are open to something they shouldn’t be open to so my ears are closed”. Deep. ❤
The first sentence he spoke was immediate fire!!
Much needed conversation sad thing about it our people don't want change
Charleston, a genius he went ham with the outrageous bs to grab attention. Now, he is putting out the real message. 👏🏿
And in menace to society. Everybody wanted to be O Dog. I literally couldn’t couldn’t type it fast enough before you said.

the imagery and the mind control..resowing the seeds😯
It’s crazy to hear Anton and Charleston say this when there are many black professionals coming to HBCUs and high schools… We see these ppl, these ppl only talk about rappers and gangsters because they get Numbers.
No impact though

When Dr. Umar said successful black men have failed tyne community. This is what he was referring to.

We as a people of color should not have to look up to any man, we should not have to look up to actors, we should not have to look up to athletes, we should not have to look up to rappers, we should be able to look up to the heavens and seek God!
Yes, but God speaks THROUGH people. Get it?

i grew up white/jewish in the suburbs of atl with a single mom living off social security - literally the only thing that kept us going when we were the broke ones in the community where the street ppl in the rap music - they were our super heroes... as wild as that sounds... like when i went to bankhead with my friend who was stepper out there - it felt to me like i was with super heroes.... fr... like all my friends were black - just saying like its wild that the music and culture is hurting black people so much but helped me as a white person so much... wild
To all my sisters and brothers we can fix all of the PROBLEMS we have as a people with one SOLUTION! That solution is UNITY point blank period! We are the most divided race in America. We all know the problems we have as a people. I say we focus on SOLUTIONS going forward for anyone taking the time to read this. If we don't unite as a people It is not looking too good for future generations of AA.

There are plenty of other people to look up to it’s just everybody gets distracted by the entertainers.
People want fast money, rapper and sports money. Hard work is the only way. How do you think they got where they are at in life. They aren’t watching tv and phones. They are at practice. Think about it.
