I've just ordered a Glarry, fancied getting back into guitar and I'd sold my fender ages ago. Now impatiently waiting for the Glarry arrival hahah! I didn't have huge expectations, but the reviews had been pretty decent given the price. This was an amazing vid, thanks for this review, it's actually great to see it in action and you play beautifully! Now I'm even more excitied for it to get here! 😍

I have a Glarry GST Strat. It plays excellent and it matches tones with a Fender or Squier Standard Strat. It was sent to me (from Ebay) in JUST the guitar storage case (not double-boxed). I also got one of the unbranded Ibanez RG copies and it came the same way. I upgraded the electronics and pickups in the Glarry GST Strat and had to shim the neck. The frets were surprisingly decent and I only had to spot-level 3 of them. It's super lightweight and it's a solid performer. So, my opinion is that if someone gets this for their kid, make sure someone knows how to do a FULL set-up!
Yep, I wish I would have articulated that better. All the components are there and appear to be solid, but with the action as high as it was a new player wouldn't enjoy learning on it IMO.
@@GearZombie Hey, you're doing great. I mean, heck, they're SENDING you things now! So, you have to be doing something they like. The ONLY guitar I got sent was a Monoprice Goldtop Les Paul. The condition was that I make 3 'jam' videos with it. I made and sent them 4 - which they were VERY happy with.
After that was done, I modded the pickups, bridge, tuners, and nut. I wanted to make it look like Tom Scholz's (Boston) Goldtop. The pickups I upgraded to a pair of white 'high output' (DiMarzio copies) (15k bridges (2), they sent me another bridge instead of a bridge and a neck!), GraphTech Tusq nut, and GraphTech 'Ratio' locking tuners, and a Graphtech 'Resomax' bridge (with graphite saddles). It's a beastly beast now!
Thanks for the review. I have a glarry tele style solid body. It’s adequate for beginners. I actually love the neck profile as it’s kinda fat. My only gripe is the neck dive. I compensate by attaching the strap to the headstock. Regarding your glarry review, the blemishes would be a reason to return it, imho. It may be only 120$ but you should receive a product that doesn’t have major finish issues. When I bought mine (for 89$) it had a minor finish issue. Glarry was great with customer service. Provided a partial rebate which I was thrilled with. I didn’t expect anything so it was surprising. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another glarry. Just remember that you may have to send back a few lemons before you get a good one. Lastly, no guitarist with any experience would expect a guitar to be in tune after traveling from China in a box. Stop using that as any judgment at all.

Ok, watched this and the Grote strat review..which would you prefer... The Grote or this one?? Gonna get something soon, I'm a intermediate player, learning to connect scales working the cage sys.

My story
December 31st 2019 at 5:45 p.m. here in New Milford Pennsylvania on route 29 I was involved and one of the most horrific car crashes at people I've ever seen in their life.
I was hit head on at a combined speed of 125 mph at the scene of the crash which I don't remember much anymore I was told that I lost 80% of My blood and that basically during surgery I die twice on the operating table and was brought back I was in surgery for 13 and a half hours.
I broke my tibia shattered my fibia and so many places completely destroyed my left arm and had to have rods pins and screws in both legs both knees and my left arm completely rebuilt from The joint to the hand.
I spent about a month and a half in the hospital and then I went to physical rehab and I spent another week and then I spent another eight to nine months at home physical therapy.
The pain that I went through was there's no words to describe it as whatsoever.
I am currently disabled now because of the accident the guy that hit me and was his fault and , unfortunately it would do the Pennsylvania law that if you don't have a certain amount of money you can't collect so my settlement not much at all.
I was told that would never walk again or do this and do that and I refuse to accept that I do walk I do drive but I'm at 70% of my life the rest of my whole life I'll be 70%. Meaning that I will be able to run or do physical meaningful activities like I used to.
Before that in 2012 my fiance killed herself on October 15th my other dog passed away on December 15th 2012 my mom died January 27th 2013 and then two years later I lost two more people two more relatives two best friends and so on and so on and then my uncle and my aunt passed away and then I had the horrific accident that changed my life.
And when you're on disability and don't have a lot you know when you want to learn something you know the only rift I can play was like the one that you did with the jammy wrap that's about the only rift I know and I know a few other chords and a few other songs but it's been a long time so I am definitely a beginner in fact even somebody sent me a free one of those easy guitar kit things that you put on guitar so I could learn more for free so that was nice but don't have a guitar to play yet

I wish somebody would send me one for me that's for sure that would be a miracle but I don't have that kind of luck I don't do a lot of reviews on UA-cam so I never get this stuff so I guess I'm just going to have to buy it you know because you don't yeah I mean I don't even know who to contact on getting that guitar for free cuz the lightning bolt it's hard to blew me away I mean it sound awesome I mean for what I would learn with cuz I also would probably order that pocket amplifier that you didn't like which I thought was really cool you know and new tuners so I'd be looking to spend about 160 bucks with the most for everything which I think I could get it for that you know I would need that the guitar tuner which is like five bucks,
On the processor which I don't know if it's an amplifier or not but I need to probably need an amp or a headphone amp which I'll have to get so yeah that's what I'm looking to do so I like to review a lot I appreciate it and yeah thanks

Uf, that is a piece of crap, get a Harley Benton or a SX, way much better guitars
