-aesthetic u can just click the s D button and the answer will change in to a decimal

-aaesthetic you can also change an a mixed fraction to an improper fraction

you can change the fraction into a decimal by hitting the SD button (usually just above the delete button). it switches between fraction, decimal, and repeating decimal. it works in both display modes. so even if you're in line output mode, you can still make it show you a fraction, and vice versa. the only difference is which one is shown first by default.

My point is that (5sqrt(2))/4 is best expressed that way, rather than 1.767766953. Using fractions also prevents precision loss.
