Gaia: After all this time I think my children are finally read to move on from justice to forgiveness. Gaia at the end: Never mind, apparently even justice was too much to ask.
@@GoldenAngel6018 I don't disagree. She thought the gods were ready to finally advance to forgiveness but when even Hades (supposedly) stabbed a hero for simple power, she knew they weren't worthy of ruling the world and all their long lives had taught them nothing.
@@Babbling_Wizardno she didn’t. Riordan just shat all over Gaias character, made her unnecessarily evil for no reason. I like heroes of olympus, but his explanation for why Gaia decided to be evil SUCKS.
"even justice was too much" dog the only reason Hades did what he did was because he wanted justice lol Its easier to say youre in for forgiveness instead of justice when the one who suffered the most injustice is the one whose going to continue suffering, meanwhile the others who completely fucked him up are getting the "clean slate" treatment. He doesnt even want to rule the world, he just wants to be with his family, but i guess he should've shut up and continued to be fucked...
Considering what Gaia herself considers "ego and arrogance", i wouldnt really say she is that good of a teacher lol. She is the one preferring the end of all life on the planet after all
Gaia….. you will soon found that, unlike mortals who learn from their mistakes, the gods have no use for forgiveness…. and therefore they don't deserve it !
Well even if he did explain himself, I doubt that Gaia would be to pleased with her husband dumping her kids for something so shallow as their appearance.

She has a point! Forgiveness is the real answer to the world and evil grows if we only follow in our hate, grudge, and desire for revenge even when it doesn't involve death as payback it still doesn't teach a good lesson if we expect only pain and regret to those that defy us in the past ;one anime can't follow that morality "Persona 5"
Whenever I hear the name "Gaia", I think of the main villainess from the Heroes of Olympus book series... it's weird to see a benevolent version of her again.
Well.... Now we know Seraphim will be the hero, and that's a good thing. Edit: Also, don't get me wrong. Seraphim did some wrong things, but it was all caused by the Olympians, primarily Zeus and Hera. During season 1, he made a point to his brother Heron that it was the gods that ruined their lives and countless others. In season 2 the Olympians are still creating chaos across the world, so it would make sense for it to be Seraphim, I do hope he gets justice, redemption, and be reunited with Gorgo to live a happy life together.
If the Greek pantheon is going to get gutted by Typhon (which it probably will), there will undoubtedly be a power vacuum to fill by other competing religions/mythologies. Perhaps Seraphim (given his angelic name) will be one of the founders (or THE founder) of this story's version of Christianity?
Gaia is a complicated woman she hated her first husband Uranus, for what he did to her children (the Elder Cyclops and the Hekatonkaris), so she convinced her other set of children (the Titans) to overthrow Uranus and take control of the world but when Kronos started to go all power hungry and ate his children to prevent them from overthrowing him, Gaia decided to teach him a lesson by plotting with Rhea to save Zeus Gaia then sheltered Zeus and raised him to be strong enough to defeat Kronos
and yet, even though she planned the defeat of Kronos, Gaia (in the original myths) was not happy with how the Olympians treated her favorite batch of children, so she consorted with Tartarus to sire the Giants and ordered the Giants to destroy the Olympians it was only with the aid of 2 demigods, Herakles and Dionysus (both were sons of Zeus that had yet to earn their immortality) that the Olympians won Gaia was then forced to admit defeat and entered a deep state of slumber, but she would continue to plot against the Olympians, unleashing terrible monsters like the Typhon against them
I always hate watching portrayals of the greek mythology, everyone gets it wrong every time, from homer to every other retarx that has made a fictional story of them.
Truly she is Mother Nature. Wise and powerful. Loving and caring. Yet harsh and feared when crossed.
Just like Hera
