Granddaughter graduated K yesterday, hub took a strange back road, and can't see well. TXT at the last minute, I didn't get to eat. Base next, Subway, a stinking tiny bag of chips was $1.64. Navy Exchange 2 for $1.00. I don't normally eat them. Candy sucked it was for kids. Told the Subway girl they were price gouging. And left. Those shirts you like are $55 and up at the base.

I stopped drinking soda for health reasons. I am so glad I did! There is no way at ALL I would pay the prices now. Even the so called sales are shocking!

Same here! I remember being glad when they went on sale 5/$10! And got upset when they cost $3 for a 12 pack. But flavored water keeps going up, too, and most are only 8-packs. But all of the drops to flavor plain water have artificial sweeteners, which I don't tolerate, so I make do between the flavored and plain.

You can not beat that price on KEN'S dressing. I stock up whenever Kroger or Meijer runs it for $1.99. And applesauce at Aldi is $1.49 to $1.79 (Simply Nature brands)

I ran in to Kroger for a prescription on my way to see my brother and will be going Friday to get their BOGO on Pagoda egg rolls and Asian dumplings. KROGER Vegetable Fried Rice is incredible.I will add their wild-caught shrimp with it again, which is on sale, too. BOGO Pork shoulder butt may get picked up, but I am going to be low on freezer space. We may be eating a LOT of it, if I can't talk myself into canning some more.
Now I am hungry for dumplings, rice and egg rolls. We have a rulers(kroger). I will see if they have the rice.

Keep on canning. It's not going to get any cheaper. I recently canned 2 pork butts, a family pack of chicken breasts, and some ground beef. I still have some breakfast sausage to can. Also, some asparagus (if I don't eat it all first 😊).
I needed to go shopping today but was going to do it all at Sprouts. I did go to Kroger for a few things after watching this. I wanted to score the 5 bottles of salad dressing. Thanks Danno
Where I live digital coupon on the mangoes will be $.99 which means they’ll be only five. However, I have a mango every day and I will be getting the mangoes for $.99 because it’s already in my phone.

Great information, wish we had more of the grocery stores you review here in South Louisiana. Deal are skimpy, but sometimes better than yours if I shop around.

Danno important update. Walmarts price for 60 eggs here in Lakeland Florida went from $9.96 to $9.12. How can the price go down. At Publix for a 12 pack went up to $6.22. Sounds interesting
I never heard of pork tenderloin medallions. Now I’m on a quest.
If you can find pork tenderloin on sale, cut your own. It's a lot cheaper. Last week, my Winn Dixie had Smithfield pork tenderloins BOGO ($5.99), so I grabbed 2 Chpotle flavored. They each weighed 19 ounces. There were other flavors, but they were smaller (some less than a pound).
I am surprised that they are still having sales on peanut butter given all of the price increases over the last several years. We buy it 12-24 units at a time when it goes on sale because it's a great pantry staple and something easy to give out at our church's food pantry. I don't eat much peanut butter myself but lots of other people do so get it while you can ; by the end of the year this will likely be a rationed food item.

I love the coffee deals in this video. That Death Wish coffee sounds like more than a gimmick and too literal after reading the label with lack of warning and researching its caffeine content against other coffees. I take blood pressure medication after having had a stroke a little over 10 years ago and that coffee combined with any other stimulant or risk factors could push someone over the edge. I don’t want a fellow viewer going through what I went through or worse.

How does that buy five deal work? We have Smith's here in NW Arizona, which is Kroger in the midwest, but I don't shop there often. Any help with it is appreciated. How do the digital coupons work? I've never used them, either. I used to clip coupons but haven't for awhile. Who is buying these coffee pods? Outrageously priced! I can't imagine!

The lidls in the US are only on the east coast. They haven't reached Ohio yet. I haven't seen any plans about expanding past the coastal states.
@37degreesnorth76 they are in every town here, sometimes more than one branch. Not as cheap as they used to be, but who is?? Still competitive though.
@@37degreesnorth76 Yeah, I was in one on a car trip a couple years ago. The others in the car with me thought I was weird for wanting to stop at a grocery on our trip, but hey, driver rules! I had heard of them for years and loved the place. I would love for them to come the Louisville, KY area, but Cincy would be great too.
What I don’t like about Kroger is the “top 40” style music they play and it’s so loud and cringy.
