The Saturn V booster had 7.5 million lbs of thrust compared to 14HP for our little Cub! The K321 is finally in place and a tractor is actually starting to take shape.
Ronald Wells Glad you liked it. Yes I still have it very much in the same state as my last video. Life got in the way and I let time slip by. However, in the last week or so I’ve been thinking more more about making a final push to complete it.
Ronald Wells Hi Ronald, I didn’t realize I was commenting from my other channel. Yes, I’d be glad to send you a PM when I resume restoring my 147. That’s pretty cool you’ve got one too.
OK, I got my valves rebuilt by the place in Conneaut Ohio for $65. I am getting ready to reconnect the rear end, but having problems getting things to line up. I need to get it connected really soon. I have to have another surgery on my leg. Mine is a 127.
Here’s a great resource for you to post photos and get additional help. I am a member there under the same username. www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=9 The rear end is very heavy, so you might have to position a floor jack underneath it and adjust it up and down with Jack pressure until things line up
chris hall Just standard hardware at this point. Someone on here or Only Cub Cadet forums mentioned that the mule drive may not fully engage with this hardware in the way. I still need to dig it out of the barn and try it on the tractor to see what's going on there.
You've got me inspired to get back on my restoration. Great vid and thanks for the inspiration........
That's funny, because watching a few of your vids helped me get going again! :P
Oh the irony, LOL
You're setting the bar so high, no one can approach it. Great job as usual V.
Just until the next SSBTC video releases!
Saturn she is looking amazing! I can't wait to see what else you have in store for us!
Thanks RS! I'm shooting for a weekly video until this thing is finally done. Painting weather is back!
looking good brother....keep us posted!
Thank you Sir Muffyn! Keep those wrenches in motion.
I can watch this video over and over.. I'm very curious if you still own this tractor today??? Let me know

@@TheSaturnV good deal see you then my friend
Great job man! Would live to rebuild a tractor, I just cant justify the money that people want for old tractors!
Yeah, it's especially bad around here with John Deere equipment. Keep your eyes peeled, $150 tractors still show up on CL from time-to-time.

Where did you purchase that fan? I am in the process of restoring a 1650 for a PF Engineering FEL, a 1450 and a 122.
Great job on yours.
+techmation Hey there. The fan was original to the tractor, I don't know when they switched from metal fans to the current plastic ones.
Why haven't you posted any videos in the last 2 years
you still kickin Saturn V?! that new job must be a killer..,
Where have you gone
did you use a 1/2 size thickness nut on the pivot bolt ? I did the same but, I have a 10hp motor. great work as always,
chris hall Are you asking what size the bolt is, or if the head is thinner/shaved/etc?
The thickness of the nut.i also machined about half of the bolt head off for clearance.

I am running a mule drive and have no problems. I have a105 so I don't know if there is any difference in the measurements .
