YA! Thanks Fiddlehed you make all your tunes so accessible! you have this unpretentious, down to earth way about you and your lessons that totally puts me at ease and I fall in love with playing all over again. cant say it enough, thanks xo
I am looking forward to the new website. Thank you Jason for your incredible way of teaching, you have that special gift. Practice is more and more fun, l have to tear myself away from playing. It is honestly because of your lessons. Thank you. Have a great day!
I am looking forward to having the new website up and running. It will be there soon. I think you will find it even more helpful. I really am glad to hear that you are improving. Cheers.
I've learned along with several of your tutorials. They're wonderful! Thank you. I'd be interested in a fiddle tutorial for Midnight on the Mountain (Steeldrivers) if you ever consider suggestions. 🙂
hey beautiful tune and great tutorial, thanks. You mention at the start of the video there would be a follow-up lesson with the ornamentation, double stop etc but I can't find it. Can you direct me? Cheers
Thank you very much. Great point about this. We have not yet created this. I will add your request to our list to consider. Appreciate you bringing this back to our attention. Happy fiddling to you 🎶 We have a guide available you may enjoy: fiddlehed.com/blog/how-to-play-violin-an-illustrated-beginners-guide-fiddlehed/
Great tune. Looking forward to giving it a shot. Not to be greedy or anything, but I am spoiled by the tabs being in the comments. Do you mind adding them? Thanks for all you do and so excited to see the new site.
It seems I learn best by watching and listening. your style has been such a great benefit to me. I am deeply thankful. I would like to offer the following as a variation on the version I learned from you. I tuned the e down to d as well so I had a ddad tuning. I worked out the fingerings to what I think sounds pretty good to me. try it some time and see what you think. thank you again.
Scott, retuning the violin is challenging for beginning students. So is changing the fingering. It confuses them. It is great that you can do it and hear the richness it gives the tune.
I guess what i'm trying to say is thank you for giving this novice the courage to step out and try something a little different. it is you my friend who helps us to lay a foundation so that we can take that step. thank you for continuing to lead.
I am looking for the tab you use to put on with number because I can't read music and it was easier for me to practice so can you still put them on thank you and your a very good theacher
Therese, not all the videos on UA-cam have tabs. They will remain on UA-cam this way. The new website has tabs and play along. This tune is in module 1.5. Thank you. I am happy to hear the videos are helping you. Cheers.
