We have Ikea in Melbourne Australia as well...We go there every six months.it' gud to buy kitchen stuff and home decor.I love Ikea..I love their kids toys and stuff section..❤

Many of the comments here are on the pricing. Ikea is known for low prices in US and elsewhere. Yet prices are not lower in India. But that's a conscious decision. Because it's not at all difficult for such a big retailer to keep prices low in a country with cheap labor and procurement costs. If they keep the prices lower, it would disrupt the domestic furniture market and millions of people whose lives are dependent on retail trade. This would result in protests and hatred, political drama and what not. (Remember the early days of "Metro Cash and Carry")
