@@killeroffroadhobbyz update vid??? Also did you find the stripped spur gear that plagues these things? Use associated part number ASC9653 its a perfect replacement.
A bunch of us on the rccrawler forums have these. Common fix for the stripped spur is to get yourself a spur from associated, part number ASC9653. 84t 48p and accepts the slipper pad. Just bought my truck a couple weeks ago and bought the spur before I even ran it. It's still not done yet but should have a vid up soon. These things look so cool!
@@killeroffroadhobbyz no prob. I just put mine in last night also topped off the diff with 1 million and extended my esc motor wires. Associated spur is REALLY tight on the shaft but everything else fits perfectly. Just need paint and I'm ready to shred!
I can't imagine driving it on that loose dirt. I put an AVC receiver in mine because it was so hard to control. I think I'm going to move mine down to a 12t brushed setup as well. Brushless power on these is a bit insane 😂I love how they look in slow motion from ground level...and funny enough...I traded for a second one last night.
Mine handled and sounded pretty bad and then it stripped the spur , I found that the diff outdrive seals are to big , locking the rear axle . I got 1000cst diff oil in the box . Let us know if you find new tyres!
Paint job looks good Gary! Does it have headlight inserts? Kinda looks weird without it. It reminded me of when I 1st ran my 2wd slash converted to brushless it would just spin in a circle lol. Luckily sct wheels aren't crazy expensive like other ones. Nice bash!
@@killeroffroadhobbyz yeah I need a light kit, also going to add a light bar over the windsheild and Baja lights on the back of the cab. Gonna get scale with this one!
@@killeroffroadhobbyz I've spent about $5k+ since coming into the hobby since around July of last year 😂. Yup, it can get out of hand. 8 rigs in total.
Great truck Gary, 🤔 only thing tho is ur camera angle is a little off, especially when u fill the screen to fit, u can hear him but not c him, only mostly ground😒
i like how ppl complain about this awesome truck. its made for small scale jumps/tracks but only real rc ppl will get it. :)
I love this truck brushless is to much power for this chassis though. Brushed motor is a ton of fun
Looks like an 80's Ford Ranger Trophy Truck..Sweet!
You gtta tune that diff for the loose stuff and of course tires lol
I have messed with it and it's running much better now
@@killeroffroadhobbyz Nice!!

Mann that looks awesome bro👍🏻 Top work really eyeing one of these
Make sure to grab a set of 1.9 tires, the stock tires are terrible
I see ya back pumping out videos nice
Yeah trying to lol
Good video and nice Rampage truck I look forward to more footage on it 👍🏻
Getting it dialed in and loving it lol video soon
Wow, you did a wonderful job on that body! Nice build bro 🙂👊
Thank you

I think your right, brushed is the way to go with this truck. They look very cool and they are tough as well. Thanks for stopping by Tony

What did you do about the out drive seals? Just bought mine its on my bench waiting for a servo.

Yes it does I didn't put lights on it

13:05 there went the paint job...😀
lol
Nice. Are you going to take a first look at the Redcat KAIJU 6s MT? I ordered one just in case it's any good. $399 too.
I would love to but I gotta pull back on the spending for a little bit. I spent about $2500 on Rc's in the last 2 months

Yeah sorry about that I will fix it
I’m not a huge sticker fan either. I give them to my kids and they stick them everywhere Oh well just not my Rcs or my truck
The rear is light and 2wd -makes car difficult to drive...🤔
Traction is overrated anyway.
wtf is this thing? Why did they make this and why would any one buy this?
I agree 😂👍
LOL I will see what I can do
