IS NUX TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD? This is just amazing to have! Early Christmas gift to me!!!
LOL
They will control the world very soon. Selling cheap and getting your details when you register. After which, you will receive a lot of calls and emails from unknown sources or people. By registering, they will pit a virus and your computer will be bugged. So be careful when buying.
Yes, China is trying to take over the world!
NUX is definitely making moves man! Just ordered mine and looking forward to using it
Great design! I really like it.
If there's ever a "v2" with a different frequency range, another cool add on would be a dedicated battery in the main receiver, to charge the transmitter when unplugged from mains!
(Finish the gig, plug the transmitter back into the receiver, unplug from mains power, and the transmitter can be fully recharged ready for the next gig while stowed away.)
You should patent that idea!
Yeah, would’ve been nice to see 5,8Ghz. 2,4Ghz is absolutely crowded.
This latency vs stability setting is pretty cool, haven't seen anything like it before!
We think it’s pretty cool too
This seems like a fantastic product. Well done!
Thank you!
This looks awesome. I have been wanting to upgrade my current wireless with something that is pedal board friendly, and this looks perfect.
Glad you like it!
It's not perfect. 2.4 does not get a reliable signal. Heck I get worried about my 5.8 system. But it's been O K so far. Mostly I use a AKG wireless bug system with a 2 AAA receiver and a 1 AAA battery transmitter. Going into my board and a 5.8 rechargeable wireless unit going to amp. Only cord going to my p board is electric. All that for $140 including two 5.8 system Getaria bought used and the AKG system I've never seen before or since. This system is over $300 and will give you hell I promise.
I'm really digging your products! I'm impressed how fast you're developing handy solutions for musicians at all levels. Keep it up!
One thing I'd like to see is in which bandwidth this device works and how it deals with the connection in a crowded environment with a lot devices.
It's 2.4GHz and there are a few valid reasons why we went this way. We'll get into it in a future video.
I am currently working on my Live Pedalboard for Bass and I came across this thing. I was seriously mindblown and taken off and away. I was looking for a suitable wireless solution for a board but somehow nothing was fitting just right.
I just ordered it and can't wait to use it. Supre hyped for this
Hope you enjoy it
@@nuxaudio Sadly I am still waiting for it since it seems really hard for every retailer to get one
Excellent design. Very interested to try this.
This is a very good design, features like wireless/tuner/boost/DI are useful but in most cases they are not worth valuable space on your pedal board, inegerating them into one single pedal really helps! The only thing is, cabsim seems to be a necessary feature if DI is already provided...
That set up is awesome
Thanks
Very cool. The boost option is very useful. It's a mere volume boost, that can therefore also push the front end of the amp, right?? But if you change multiple guitars on stage it is a little bit disadvantageous to have a cable because you then have to carry the unit somewhere in a pocket. Better would be a plug, that you can just plug from guitar to guitar. Maybe nux can offer such an alternative plug...
Makes sense
Looks awesome!
Cool piece. I like the display 👍
Thanks 👍
One feature I would really want to see is the tuner that also shows the cents very clearly. Also, does this do both electric and acoustic guitars?
Great design, high quality 👍👍👍👍👍
Thats a great bit of kit!
We think so too
pre order is in. great design.
Awesome, thank you!
Wish someone would combine an instrument wireless AND my In Ear Monitoring wireless into one receiver and transmitter unit. All on a single pedal for your pedalboard. THAT would be innovative.
Good idea
Nux stuff is awesome!
Thanks
Can you buy an additional transmitter to use with another guitar? Turning off one transmitter and turning on the other to switch them?
la verdad la nux mg 300 ha sido de gran ayuda para mi sonido y me gustaria seguir comprando mas productos de la marca nux para mi guitarra
Genius! I may be switching over...
😎
It would be nice to be able to buy a second transmitter so you can swap guitars without fiddling around with the transmitter.
Exactly this is my problem with most of these type of wireless. It's why I use a Line 6 I just unplug from the guitar and plug it into the next guitar. I unit for all my guitars (I use 3-4).
Me encanta, muy práctico y la salida Xlr perfecta, gracias por el video saludos desde España ;)
Gracias 🙏
Cool design, is a transmitter, tuner, Efx loop, boost pedal and a DI box, good job Nux!
Hope it will have a stereo version.
That would be cool!
Looks interesting. I'm not sure I like products that try to do too many things. I'm assuming the loop is for you to be able to send an affected signal out through the DI? So the idea is that you'd have your entire pedal board run through the loop so it can go out the DI? Maybe this makes sense. I mean, if you're going to have DI out then you probably should have a loop.
Wow just looking for this to be released 😍
Btw, will it be possible to connect 2 transmitters (not at the same time obviously 😅). Purpose: attach each one on a guitar and switch from one to the other when needed wirhout any additional action.
NUX, a really nice konzept! For us Bassplayers it would be a perfect all in one platform if there were the possibility to add an IR or cabsim to the DI-Out.
Is there a possibility that this feature could come in the future?
Not in this version.
@@nuxaudio thanks! It would be an awesome feature ✌️
Do you have to pair every time you want to use a different transmitter? I had the Line 6 G70 and got rid of it because of 2.4 issues (I like the latency/stability setting here and would love to see if that is better) but I really liked having multiple packs because I would usually use multiple guitars during a gig.
that's weird. Line 6 G70 is the only affordable 2,4ghz product I know that can do the channel scan where you then choose the channel with the LEAST reception bar symbols, cause they show which channels AREN'T used by smartphones etc. Best timing for doing this is when the venue is starting to get crowded. Never had an issue in the last 8?! years with the G70 but with every other product I had some...
with the DI out, which part of the signal path is sent to the DI? Immediately split off the input or after the loop?
So you can customize the boot-up screen with any GIF? If so, I gotta add this to my Christmas list lol
LOL
nice, sounds pretty useful
Thanks
I’m not easy to please but I have two of your products, the B5RC Wireless System and The DM7X Drum kit. Good job, very good quality and products. Not perfect but on the right path which is what matters. BTW I wrote like a year ago asking if the updates from the DM8X Would be available for DM7X users to upgrade. Still waiting for an answer. See, good place to start improving.
Cool!
Thanks
I love Nux❤
🙏
Been wondering when we would see a wireless system with a DI box built in. Adding an fx loop 👍.
Cool
@@nuxaudiowhy is everyone complaining about the 2.4 frequency? I’m a newbie to the conversation.
Is the battery in the transmitter replaceable?
Is the xlr output pre or post the send / return? Do you just get dry guitar from that output or is it wet with whatever effect I put in the loop?
If the transmitter battery were to die mid set, would plugging a cable into the B8 automatically bypass the wireless and start working, or do you need to do anything else for the cable to take priority over the wireless transmitter? Thanks!
Looks great b
Thanks
I would really like to make a video test of your products, especially mg-30 / mg400... maybe a day :)
Looks pretty cool, a pity you need to remove the cable from the transmitter every time you want to charge.
Very interesting product! By the way do you have some pos-warranty european support?
For European support, contact your local NuX dealer and they should be able to connect you to the distributor in the region.
Is there any chances to get the original 1/4 TX cable (only) for spare?
had problem with 2.4ghz in gigs in +500 people and concert halls with a lot of people with Phones On... any chance to have 5,8 mghz version? or more channel like Shure..
Can I power the RX from one of the 9V isolated ports of my power supply for my pedal board? Or do I have to use the power cord/pack that comes with the unit? Also, is a 5.8Ghz coming out anytime soon?
I may have missed it, but how long does the transmitter last before needing recharge?
Has anyone tried this at a gig location with 2.4 Ghz wifi? Do they compete and cause problems? Please link future video. Old systems had channels, but as the world perpetuates wifi this should be a feature explored front and center
Will this come with a right angle cable?
Only thing keeping me from pre-ordering is having to use the proprietary screw in cable. I can imagine the straight cable getting knocked/broken, would be cool to have a right angle option for Fender guitars.
I had to have one custom made.
@@fistinair1979 Where'd you get this done? I want a custom one!
@@DirkMonroe rattlesnake cables. Make sure they wire it tip to tip.
How cool is THIS!?
Thanks. We think so too 😉
Plug is handy for strats but not for flat mounted input jackets like SG's or 335. An angled plug is better. Available?
That's a good idea
Does it cut out quicker than a cable? I’ve found the cheap ones don’t have the same sustain of signal like using a regular guitar cable
Does anyone know if there's also an alternative for the straight plug? I'm mainly playing front loaded guitars and would prefer an angled plug.
I was thinking that too. Might have to make a custom cable with an angled plug.
Is it possible to connect more than one transmitter?
How did you skip over allowing the cable to stay plugged in while charging on the dock? The last thing we need is loose bespoke cables.
Noted...
The design looks great, but it needs the 5,8GHz range and AA batteries (OR OTHER REMOVABLE) for the transmitter to be "Pro". Angled cable for the instrument in addition to the straight one would be nice too. The frequency range, however is the biggest problem, as the 2,4 GHz is useless in almost every venue.
How much is it and when will it be available in Australia?
Can you buy replacement cables for the transmitter separately? also are they available with a right angled jack?
I had to special order a custom one.
Can you get an extra transmitter from NU-X,and how much would it cost?
For the DI output, is it a speaker emulated/IR output?
No it’s a DI output
is the transmitter locked in the receiver when charging? I am wondering because if the receiver stays velcroed in the pedal board then when we move it the transmitter stays in place?
It’s magnetic
Is there a Storbo - Tuner mode include?
I need to know whether the tuner gets down to A= 432hz, there is no information on the tuner range anywhere, not even in the operation manuals
Will this work with basses with active pickups?
Hi, where and when can I get this in Canada? I cannot find. Thanks.
This is awesome! Is it compatible with bass as well?
Yes
Nice. Is there a stereo jack option for dual source pickups coming?
Not at this time
@@nuxaudio ok, thanks :)
The real question is how well does it work when around a bunch of wifi transmitters.
Ive had nothing but trouble with mine. Its dropped out 2 to 3 times each gig. even at the most stable setting. I now plug direct into it. expensive tuner. Im hoping the update may help. my first wireless after avoiding them for years. i play 200 shows a year. So far embarrassing. Any recommendations let me know. I love all my other Nux products.
Hi Folks at NUX, great product indeed, but I have one concern within my B-8. I have tried with my new toy using my Fender Jazz Bass American Deluxe US (passive) and my Ex-Factor Philip Kubicki (Active - 18 volts) and for both instruments and despite the fact I have enabled the “Boost” function, input level is very low. What should I do as it gives a very weak audio entry into my Aguilar Head Amplifier. Your support is greatly appreciated! Have a nice day and excellent week. Best regards, JC
looks like 2.4ghz. Would be the perfect wireless for me if I weren't trying to get away from that frequency range. Been using nu-x for years. I gigged my Time Force into the dirt!
Ok
Is there a way to get a replacement transmitter when the battery wears out eventually?
No reaponse
I’ll be purchasing Shure‘s 2.4/5 ghz.
These types of batteries aren’t designed to last long.
Should have allowed for aa batteries.
And the fact that I got no response means they don’t intend to offer support when the battery finally dies.
But where can it be purchased from? I don't see and option on your website to view a price or purchase.
It will be available in the next 30 days
Can a transmitter be purchased separately for switching guitars easily?
Unknown at the moment, but I can't imagine why not.
NUX, it would be nice if you added options for LOW impedance output or HIGH impedance outputs and also make an effect loops for high impedance guitar pedals like wah pedals, fuzz faces, etc because most of those pedals don't like Wireless LOW impedance outputs
Thanks for the suggestion
First question on my mind
From an electronics engineering background I'd love to have more detail as to exactly why you would want a high impedance source. Makes little sense to me. Btw stick a resistor in series and you have a high impedance output, but I suspect the actual issue is something totally different than how it's described. So please, enlighten me. 😊👍
@@jaakjaak0427 guitar amplifiers input stages want to see a high impedance input. Guitar amplifiers aren't designed for the input front end to see low impedance so wireless units outputs are low impedance not high impedance
@@waynegram8907 The joy of a high impedance input is it doesn't pull much current which ensures the source voltage will not drop significantly. Low impedance sources are resistant to the load dropping the voltage because they can source whatever current the input wants. If you're driving a very long distance, than transmission line theory kicks in and matching impedances reduces reflections that can be both constructive and destructive, but we're talking miles, not few feet. So the amp high impedance design is to not load the pickups as they can't deliver the current to maintain voltages. Not a problem for a low impedance source. If you are concerned about output impedance, put a resistor in line with the low impedance source, but you'll need significant resistance to impedance match the amp input, which will attenuate the signal level and create an environment more sensitive to external noise sources. But I'm still new at this, I've only provided electronics test solutions to design engineers since the 90's and worked on guitar amps since the 70's, so I'm really looking forward to learn more!
Does this have a power cord to charge?
when will the nux mg 30 update the new firmware? I need a drop tune pedal😂
Does this work with active bass guitars?
Why not use 5.8 hertz rather than 2.4? For more stability in the sound.
There are specific reasons why. We will cover them soon
Hi, looks awesome but 2.4Ghz seems unusable for live venues (had too many issues already). I am digging your C-5RC, though (used it live without issues as opposed to B-5RC). Are you planning 5.8GHz version as well? It seem weird how everybody sticks to this crowded frequency band :/
it's because of the range if I'm not mistaken.
We’ll cover this topic soon.
I would gladly sacrifice range over reliability.
If you are more than 30' from your wireless receiver, you are playing venues where an investment in a higher cost system is needed. Cool concept, but having a 5.8 version or better yet dual band would be cool.
2.4 GHz is free and authorized everywhere in the world. Which is not the case for other frequencies
Cool! What about 5,8GHz version?
Not at this time. There’s a reason why. Stay tuned
How about MG-30 firmware update?
Just got one, and 20 seconds after the first song on the first gig using it I lost the signal, i wanna love this unit and was excited about it but as for now I’m dissatisfied.
Amazing amazing design!! I was immediately looking to buy and then realized its 2.4GHz..... please please change!!
Hi there!
For some reason, the boost function will not boost my volume when I am running a distortion pedal in front of the nux b8.
Can anyone provide some insight as to why this may be happening?
Are you sure your distortion is not running after the b8? In that case it's boosting the clean signal going into the distortion pedal, which gets sandwitched before going out into the amp. You can try connecting your distortion back into Send IN, then hook up main OUT into the amp. Let me know how it goes because I'm also interested in the boost function before buying this.
@@anonymouse527 Definitely had the B8 at the very last position with the patch cable running from my last pedal into its return out.
I ended up returning the unit - it boosted the overall volume of my fuzz pedal, but unfortunately would not boost my distortions at all.
@@shredder_horn37 so it boosted your fuzz pedal but not the distortion? That's really weird. I wonder if one pedal is analog and the other is digital, though it shouldn't matter. Just guessing. Thanks for letting me know.
@@shredder_horn37 hey, I just got the B8 pedal and tried it with a distortion. It did boost it! I cranked it to 12 dB in the settings to make it louder.
Ya puedo adquirirlo desde la página?
Not yet. It will be available in 30 days
When will it be available to Europe?
Should be in this quarter
Why 2.4? I like the design, but 2.4 is too crowded. If it was on a pedalboard how would it charge after a gig?
I will release a video shortly discussing this
What's the minimum latency in this?
It has an headphone out as well?
No headphone out
Is the reciever power suply included?
Yes
Thanx for the reply as this was not mentioned in the video. Any chance you could power other pedals from this unit?
I've had a couple cheaper units. I had the xvive and the Boss WL-20. I live in a pretty loud network environment and neither of those did the job for me. Heck, the boss would lose signal 3 feet from it. I just got this the other day and I'm not looking back. II was hyped when they announced it. They lived up to it. My only complaint is that the tuner just isn't the best. It's not very accurate either.
I just returned the xvive because of drop out problems. You say you've had no issues with this one? The 2.4 is concerning to me.
Charge time and play time? Mute switch ?
Yes there is a mute on the transmitter and the tuner can be a mute too
Supports power up via USB-C port?
No. It includes a power supply. The USB is for updates.
I also create Nux MG30 content on my channel but it's in my native language of Filipino, I hope I can get a shout out from the legend! Cheers! I am loving the Nux brand more and more with these crazy products you put out.
Hope you sell it in Mx as well
I’m sure we will
Will be awesome with iRs inside B8
Does this have a longer range than the B6?
The range is 160ft. The b6 is much less
How much less?@@nuxaudio
When will this be out for sale?
Shipping soon
It seems to start from the 20th Nov (as per info from AliExpress)
Love this. So OVER my Line 6 Relay poor wireless system, and customer service! rugged unit plus a tuner... sold! Worth the $319 for me for all the features it comes with!!
😎
