Have been playing Padel for two years now and am amazed at how the players ended with ball out of court. Thank you for the great kicksmash tips, I'm playing Padel this morning and can't wait to try it out, thanks.
The explanation that finally made the kicksmash click, was that it is all about ball position. If you aim towards the gap between the final 2 panes of glass on the backwall (on which ever side you are looking to kick it out), and hit the ball high and above your non-playing shoulder and use your wrist, your body will automatically correct itself and you will hit a topspin + sidespin shot. This is more important when starting to hit topspin smashes, instead of focusing on brushing up etc. in my opinion
You always give really helpful tips. I see you are playing on an outside court - ours suffers with puddling in rain and then staying sodden for some time afterwards. Do you recommend a particular ball for lasting well in the wet?
Thank you very much!!! That is useful. Definitely gonna try to improve my smash x3 shots with that technique (I always play my smash too flat). Since you haven't talked about it, do you think changing the grip of the racket isn't that important in order to get that spin? Kind of find it very hard myself to smash the ball with the grip changed to eastern backhand.
Glad I could help! Thanks for commenting again Fran! And yeh, I nearly included a section on the grip, for me, the continental grip works fine. I try not to change it too much, I mostly focus on holding the racket a little bit lower down to get more power and wrist action.
@@EverythingPadel Hi! What does that mean? Open, closed, middle like a hammer? Steady grip and loose after impact. Many different tips from various channels. Keep doing the padel videos btw, they are great and padel is growing fast here in Scandinavia 🤗

Nice. I wanna go practice this. My x4 smash is quite good, but my x3 smash definitely needs improvement
Good luck! When you start doing it in matches it is the best feeling!
Whats X3 and x4
@@mr.chilll5179 x4: Hitting a smash that goes over the back wall. x3: hitting a smash to the back wall that then bounces over the side wall.
@@TheRealBlueSwan thx 👌🏻
