I really need a KX2. My KX3 is just too big for what I want to do with it. I probably need to pick up one of those small SOTA beams mast too. So much stuff I need to create a good "kit". My stuff is just all over the place.
That carbon 6 is amazing and weighs nothing. Great for the beach also. I’ll probably make a very compact fanny pack bag also with the sw-3b / talentcell/efhw/ rg-316.
It’s a good idea to have a kit ready to use in the car, I think that I will do the same as you but with my SW3B that sleeps in the drawer. I’m looking forward to have a qso with your brother! CUL, Eric VA2EO
Yes! The SW-3B is a very underrated radio. I’ll have a video on my micro car kit soon. That’ll feature the sw-3b and the talentcell. Super useful, super affordable. I believe Mel will be attending the ADK SOTA campout. 73 Eric!
