... by people who believe absurdities. One CNP in my town of 202,000 has started over 200 kids on puberty blockers. Not a Dr, not a pediatrician or endocrinologist, but a nurse with the power of prescription. This CNP wholeheartedly believes she's saving kids' lives.

I grew up with skateboards, boom boxes too and when loving someone became a thing I realized I love someone from my own gender whilst being totally fine with myself , body, soul and all! That makes me a homosexual. The hope was to just be able to not be ousted by my community or harassed for whom I fall in love with and commit myself to by my parents.
Thank God life and all turned out much more normal and beautiful than it did for the older generations of same sex couples.
That said - NEVER did I have to question the „Who I am“ identifying as to be allowed by any community to simply be myself and as such love whomever I loved.
So the LGB … ( add H as in heterosexual to the LGB because it makes sense to do so) the LGBH is not the source of this identity mess, because it was never about, getting “self identification approved ” ! - LGBH is about a human being loving and committing to another human being no matter the biological sex . Gender is not even the point here. Everybody has a biologically given physical reality and we have beauty within our physical existence and a part of that is sexual in nature. Sexual in self experience of being in your own body and sexual in being physical of longing to be physically intimate with someone.

and this is policed by an immense group pressure and social media exposure with all the group dynamics at work.
The idea :
who do you choose to be through self identification sounds unburdened and inviting on first glance
as it pretends to offer choice within a free and creative setting. In reality it opens the floodgates for delusional individuals throwing their lack of distinctions on Gay, Bi and Heterosexuals alike.
In their communities preexisting concepts are already waiting for you and it is not your own individuality that is revealing itself to you during a life lived. It is the pseudo choice into a preexisting concept of the gender related ideas of our times that nail your free spirit into „being self-identified as xyz“ - and the XYZ is filled with quite toxic concepts and dogmatism for any free spirit.
The transsexuals of my generation that I am friends with and talk to do sound very different from these trans identified people.
Their struggle and evolution was to come to terms with themselves in their physical body , their experience of their own biological sex being unbearable. Not the society doesn’t accept me was their biggest problem ( still big though) , but that they felt displaced within their own experiences.
Trans identification is a strange thing given its real life horror for female tomboys or male crossdressers being all of a sudden questioned to justify themselves and stand trail in front of these self proclaimed „gender affirming/reaffirming „ adults who add to the peer group more not less judgmental discrimination.
My point is
Nobody is to be forced to identify as anything to be allowed to be oneself.
The madness of this ideology has no boundaries whatsoever !!
The confluence of four problems: 1) Predatory medical human trafficking 2) Bedroom COSPLAY for the purpose of justifying same-gender relations 3) Defenseless individuals that need mental health councelling 4) "Hollywood" philosophy for a bad movie script presented by simpletons.
It's easy for these people who are able to get professorships and can just sit around and theorize all day. The destruction of western civilization. The ranks of the liberals are increased by the number of plainly put messed up people in society. The more those people they can create, those are the more people who cannot take part in a market economy, and a wage job, and the marketplace of ideas and of selling and buying your skills of labor. That takes so much energy and careful thought and discipline, so the maximum number of broken bodies they can create through slick sounding ideologies, the better

Seems to me it would be more effective to ENFORCE our constitution. Clearly defending it has little impact -as we’ve witnessed over decades. Two years ago, my niece was 15, happy, healthy, had a boyfriend, was getting good grades, making friends, enjoying high school. Two years later she believes she is transgender, shaved her head, hates her Christian parents, doesn’t follow rules, swears at her teachers and parents, is failing multiple classes, skipping class, and trying to move out at17 bcz her parents are “too controlling…”
I 100% blame this ideology Chris is referring to. This ideology teaches confused teens that anyone who disagrees with them is a bigot and deserves to be disrespected and distanced from or even cut off from.
My niece is not even recognizable to us anymore but she believes she is finally becoming her true self… it’s devastating what this ideology has done to so many families. This is not a boy vs girl issue. This is young anger and irresponsibility being projected and enabled through fake activism.

Little known financial incentive for "gender affirming care" was slid into the Obamacare, um, Affordable Care Act. Insurance companies pay for this type of "medical" assistance, and planned parenthood is distributing the cross hormone with little more than a question or two. While many have slept, the infrastructure has been built and the students have become doctors and administrators.
EXACTLY and I am amazed at how few people know this FACT. Certain giant health care facilities immediately latched on to this perpetual money maker as it is not just the initial surgery but a life time of treatments. A mammoth cash cow. So much money to be made, public schools were encouraged to groom as many children as possible to believe the abnormal was normal.
The Pritzkers of Chicago were big contributors to Obama's campaign. The middle age cross-dresser in the Pritzker family is active in the transagenda.

It’s going to be so many lives damaged, destroyed even. If you listen to people who were on the inside speak on this it is not about taking the time explore what is leading kids toward this. It’s get them on their way towards transition and a lifetime of cha-ching for big pharma and big medical. I was in Academia studying Buddhism. Buddhism seemed to be more about becoming less egocentric yet Academia seemed to be about becoming more egocentric. Most of these papers in Academia written about social justice seem to be written by extremely narcissistic people. They supposedly care about social justice yet in fact they care very little about the harm they themselves cause every day.
I doubt those narcisssictic people bring some destitutes to their home for meal. Instead they demand government and others to help destitutes.

God is good all the time. He created them male and female. And it was good.
But you also have to admit that he created people are intersex and other sort of conditions that aren't typically male and female. Biology is complicated.

Our sex is determined by the gametes our bodies produce or the gametes our bodies were intended to produce. There are only two gametes, sperm and eggs. Trans has nothing to do with intersex people. Trans is about sex roles and sex roles are cultural, not biological.

Some insist that for example, trans women *are* women. I think I get what they mean, but factually I think that's wrong if we go by gametes.

Gender Affirming Care should be to respect a person's biological sex and not to change their sexuality but to support their biological sex.
Doctors…health systems…accrediting bodies…must be sued into oblivion. Malpractice claims and malpractice insurance premiums will hopefully skyrocket. But government must NOT be allowed to subsidize the insurance carriers.
And please don't forget how quickly public schools jumped into this grooming of children and even hiding the grooming from their parents. This is why schools boards fought so hard to keep parents in the dark. They were the food source feeding the government/Health Care Complex with your children.

Needs and rights of all workers and farmers are. I was astonished to find out that in the West these strange ideas are branded as "Marxism". As if no one can open Marx's and Engels's books and check it themselves.

Why do the promoters of this insanity think this is something that needs to be done? What is the ultimate goal. One theory is that the Pritzkers are heavily invested in the business of medicine, and they know that any trans requires lifelong medical care. I don’t buy that, but I’m still curious.
Why isn’t anyone asking what is causing this, rather than trying to normalize it by making it a developmental issue, on the one hand, or an immoral social problem on the other hand?
Did you know there is research out there regarding endocrine disrupters and gender dysphoria. For example, plastics, the use of phalates in artificially scented items, flame retardants, etc. We need to focus on eliminating chemicals that are causing so many problems today. Gender dysphoria, fertility issues and the feminization of men were far less frequent only a few decades ago.

I agree that’s part of the challenge with everyone’s wellth…gut health being connected to overall health including the brain. Another challenge I see is the societal conditioning of trying to box people in to what different people think ‘masculine’ and ‘feminine’ are supposed to be. Look at history and take away expectations of what clothes, jobs, emotions etc we’re supposed to or not supposed to have and this would alleviate a lot of the non-sense.

I'm still of the mind that transgenderism is not necessarily the true focus of the sought after paradigm shift. I think it's plausible and possible that what transgenderism represents is the antithesis component of a dialectic being used to reduce cultural resistance to the introduction of transhumanism. This also explains the antagonism toward the monotheistic religions; their adherents represent the strongest, most coherently reasoned opposition to such innovations. The reason I suspect this movement is a feint is because it is being championed by the left, which also champions universal healthcare. Understanding that collectivism dehumanizes, and bureaucracy pragmatizes, the support for transgenderism will quickly erode to euthanasia for a chronic mental illness which produces unhappiness, if universal healthcare is achieved through state action. Biomechanical augmentation which increases productivity will naturally be encouraged, and maybe even eventually required, just to remain competitive.

Agreed and I too have been thinking this exact thing. We are slowly being introduced to transhumanism and the end of human beings as a species, to be replaced with a human/techno hybrid. You get a few people who make it to the top and because they are at the “tip of the spear” their opinion becomes the standard. This standard is then taught/mandated down the line to the next level and then the next and so on and so on all the way down the tree and eventually you have a whole country of “professionals” that are teaching and practicing based on the opinion of the few at the top.
Most people don’t bother to question it because they will say to themselves “hey millions of professionals all agree that this is the proper way or 99% of professionals in this field all agree so it must be the correct way” but really this thinking is flawed because it is not the genuine opinion or direction of millions of professionals or 99% of professionals but rather the opinion/direction of the few at the top. And how can you question the few at the top if you ever want to get there yourself? Can you really be willing to question is everything you spent 8-12 years learning based on flawed perspective or irrational thinking? How much of it is true/reasonable and how much of it is not?
This really makes me question everything I have ever been taught and it is terrifying.

Well my first thoughts on the topic were of "androgyny" being an old Latin word so gender fluid was just a new twist on an old classic imo. Even in the 90s girls were wearing ripped jeans and plaid shirts like the boys listening to grunge rock wearing CK one a fragrance for a man or woman etc. but since then the culture has morphed with cosmetic surgeries becoming more common and desired also again in the 90s was Pam Anderson a bad influence getting breast augmentation removing ribs etc. "unrealistic body image" more people got tattoos body piercings which used to be edgy image type procedures now young people wanting to rebel need to go to extremes but if the surgery is seventy thousand dollars what percent of the population have that much disposable income to spend on body reformation rather than education a car or a mortgage either? I don't personally care if a man wants to wear a dress either I worked in fashion and have sold ladies dresses and accessories to a few men myself but I will always think it's still a man in a dress regardless of how pretty they may be.
Kids can be on their parents' insurance until age 26 and gender-affirming treatment has to be covered by insurance companies, so these hormones and surgeries are accessible to most people. Just so we don't get carried away with worrying about spending on medical transitions, total spending on medical care in the USA is around $4 trillion a year. I suspect the portion of that spent on gender reassignment surgery is pretty small. In fact, I suspect it is so small as to be near invisible. Hey, I looked it up, and it turns out to be about 0.05% of total spending. If someone's planning to base a business on that they'd better have some pretty patient (pun intended) financial backers. What is missing from this presentation is any discussion of the individuals who have gender disphoria. There's no point saying it doesn't exist. It does exist, and has existed for thousands of years. Get over it.
