Correct you don’t need it if you’re using RankMath or SEOPress but make sure you actually configure it. Setting this up through a WordPress plugin is much more tedious, but it’s only a one time thing.

Great point and that is true. URL Monitor makes you login with the same Google account you use for GSC.

I have a feature inside of my SEO plugin Rankmath that I use...I assume I don't need this unless these 2 SaaS do a better job? How would one know?

Do they actually fix the URL so it can be indexed or just tell you what to do to fix it? I asked this quesiton of URL monitor and never got a response
It doesn’t actually modify your site, it doesn’t have that kind of access.
It just acts as an intermediary to refresh GSC as your site changes.
