    Amazing work! I actually found a piece here in NE Georgia while walking the Mulberry River that was white quartzite about 2/3 the size of that, looks about the same thickness maybe just tad thicker on the backend. I know its worked but ive always wondered what it was used for.

    There’s that saying, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” If the tools you are using work for you, then keep using them. Tools probably work differently for everyone depending of their skill level and technique.

    Did you notice how the tone of your strikes kept getting lower each time larger flakes came off?
