Just acquired a sweet "93" lx hatch...truly owned by a sweet old lady who had to move into assisted living...its a 4 banger.white with red interior...its an automatic on the floor...got it for $1,000...would like to monasteries it but don't know the 1st thing to do.its got under 100k on it...been in dry storage for 15 years now...need some advice pleeeeease !!!!!
It looks like more and more, that’s the way to go to make a killer notch. Find a nice 4cyl fox and, put the money saved into the conversion. Super cool project!
I have an 86 foxbody v6 that I want to upgrade to a 302. My husband is reading conflicting info on whether the trans and rear end also have to be swapped out. I have no intentions of racing it but prefer the sound of the 302. Not sure which way to go.

Question, would a four cylinder car be a good daily driver? I have no intentions of ever doing anything even remotely sporty, so I'm not sure I need all the power of the 5.0.
4to8 is probably the easiest swap one can do, stock 4 & 8 K members are the same , did 5 of these style swaps back in the 90's , some carbed & the rest , fuel injection

So I have a 89 mustang with a selvage title that I had to get a rebuilt title for. Dose anyone think it's worth keeping or should I get a new body to have a clear title?
If you already have all the proper paperwork to make it street legal then just keep it..all that salvage or rebuilt title stuff only matters if you want to sell it later on..save the foxes 👍👍

I’d definitely cut a coil bud. Bring her down out of the breeze some. I had an 85 4cyl 4 speed notch I planned on 4.6 swapping back in like 06-07. I traded it to a buddy for an rx7 and an 85 eldorado. It’s sitting in his pasture still today with the back window busted out getting rusty. Makes me sick

He bought an 86 t top from me that was pretty rough for the 347 striker and t 5 to swap in it and put it in a 95 sn95 instead🤷🏻♂️. I’ll talk him out of it one day
