This doesn't go at all in the real singing technic, a proper belt, the tips don't make any technical sense, she's teaching just a sweet soft style how to sing it. You should teach people how to strengthen their voices first to do a proper belt (you can't learn that in one video), since it's a muscle, in the gym you also don't do heavy weight lifting directly. Nice video but not proper vocal coaching.

Hi Freya.I washing all your videos.You are amazing and talanted teacher and singer.I am training my vocal .Srougle with some things.Like flat voice , pushing aspecially on a hight notes . I'll ask you many questions I think here and there. Can you pls tell me as well how to keep saliva reflex not to come as a sing aspecially when I am stressed on the performance etc..sometimes it is reflex to swallow anx sometimes it is real need to swallow saliva during performance. Although this is helpful, I feel it's a bit of cop out singing it a tone lower. The hardest thing about this song is belting those top notes, obviously it will be easier a tone lower. Would love to hear a tutorial of it in the original key please. X
Hi Freya, thanks for this. Right at the end you mention something that troubles me a bit on quite a lot of occasions and I don't really know what's going on there. I wonder if you could do a whole lesson on it. The issue is that business of the unwanted vocal fry as you called it. I just feel it like my voice breaking up and I don't know why it happens. I would really like to understand what is causing it. I get it in various situations not just the one you've mentioned here. Sometimes I get it when I am just doing a scale. And then my scale gets completely messed up and I have nothing left to but stop singing because I can't stop it from happening and it just gets worse. Is it about breath support? And if it is, what exactly must one do with the breath support. I mean if you do give this a shot, can you be super explicit because I tend to find generic terminology like "breath support" not that helpful. I only really have a vague understanding of it. So yes this issue tends to happen around my break mainly G A B C5. But it can show up anyway once it does start happening.

As A tenor, Idk why I have so much ease until E5/F5 in chest while belting that high part. Maybe it's because of my Balanced Mixed HV and Chest Voice?

I'll ask you many questions I think here and there. Can you pls tell me as well how to keep saliva reflex not to come as a sing aspecially when I am stressed on the performance etc..sometimes it is reflex to swallow anx sometimes it is real need to swallow saliva during performance. Very apriciate !!

Although this is helpful, I feel it's a bit of cop out singing it a tone lower. The hardest thing about this song is belting those top notes, obviously it will be easier a tone lower. Would love to hear a tutorial of it in the original key please. X
Hi Freya, thanks for this. Right at the end you mention something that troubles me a bit on quite a lot of occasions and I don't really know what's going on there. I wonder if you could do a whole lesson on it. The issue is that business of the unwanted vocal fry as you called it. I just feel it like my voice breaking up and I don't know why it happens. I would really like to understand what is causing it. I get it in various situations not just the one you've mentioned here. Sometimes I get it when I am just doing a scale. And then my scale gets completely messed up and I have nothing left to but stop singing because I can't stop it from happening and it just gets worse. Is it about breath support? And if it is, what exactly must one do with the breath support. I mean if you do give this a shot, can you be super explicit because I tend to find generic terminology like "breath support" not that helpful. I only really have a vague understanding of it. So yes this issue tends to happen around my break mainly G A B C5. But it can show up anyway once it does start happening.

Whitney is very good,but every singers has a unique talents and uniqueness of their voices.
