Wow! That is really nice. Except for the thermo Foil. That won’t last. Other than that it’s nice. But I won’t buy an RV without solid surface. But that’s just me.
Really nice! I’ve heard that rack & pinion slides can be hydraulic or electric. True? Would hydraulic slides be found mostly on more expensive units? Are they more reliable? Are they heavier? Vinyl is technically carpetless! Why not put white face outlets on the wall behind the sofa? Are they that much more expensive than the black faced ones? I see this so often in trailers and less expensive motorized units. It makes things appear very cluttered and is very non-residential feature. The coffee nook caught my eye immediately. Why not extend it on over towards the door? And why not raise the cabinet bottom a couple of inches? Seems space is being wasted here. Awesome window coverage! This Texan would for sure need two A/Cs to be able to actually enjoy the views. Great storage. Nice glass insert designs. Reacher-grabber-pickeruppers is what you call those things to access elephant enema storage. They should be included? Nah. Baskets. Overall a unit worth consideration..
I wish the sofa and theater seats were cloth and not fake leather. Lots of windows for a south Texas camper. It's called a "Reachy-stretchy-grabby-thingy". Need some CPAP space in the bedroom for the right side of the mattress. Nero Hero. I'm guessing no napping on the bed in road mode. Hate the glass entry door. I would snag myself on the fender trim - generally when I'm carrying something.
Perfect couple’s floorplan as equipped, and the fiberglass roof is better than some Class A’s cheap TPO roofs👍just needs a standard ladder, solar, matching slide-out flooring, a quality bathroom vent fan and💥💥💥
That pantrytainment center is just BEGGING to have shelves ripped out and a John Stick style armory put in. Replace that slide lock with a hidden solenoid that responds to a magnetic key fob, and you got yourself a decent kid friendly setup.
We had some unsupervised kids go through quite a few of our RVs and play with the fire extinguishers. Grrr - but u caught them and made their dad pay for the damage and clean-up.
Hey Josh I got a weird RV brand that I can find next to nothing on but I am very curious about. The brand is called "Idle-Time" made by Allen Camper Manufacturing Company in Allen, Oklahoma. There's scant information on them but they're very unusual in that they still make present-day 5th wheels that are not only well under 10,000 LBS GVWR but also are aluminum sided vs fiberglass or other composites. I thought that trend ended in the late 90s/early 2000s but they're still doing it along with a series of travel trailers. They also got some good looking travel trailers as well. Apparently you can get pretty much any trailer they make in either composite/fiberglass or aluminum skinned. Almost a made to order setup but very reasonably priced. Again, scant information. They're very much a small time mom & pop versus giant manufacturer and being a resident of Oklahoma, color me curious about our domestically produced camper brand. Have you had any experience with them, seen them or know much about them?
Another great destination trailer, comfortable option to full time in. Being close to 40ft, I would be concerned with sway, it may be a challenge to tow. Any formidable distance you might want to accomplish with a dually. Only one A/C is insane, ok may be ok if you lived in the pacific NW. I know 2 A/C units struggled north of 95 deg in a 38 foot motorhome, it was a 1997 Fleetwood with 2 slides. More than the length volume needs consideration as well as having less insulation and more surface area created in a slide, the need for more BTU's grows exponentially. If I had this rig in the heat I would make sure I had some shade even with 2 A/C's installed.
Hey Josh, we love to watch your videos! You’re so funny. WIsh you were closer to Atlanta. We would buy from you! I have a couple of pet peeves with manufacturers. I DO NOT like a huge window behind the bed! WHY!? We covered ours up. Side windows are ok. Also, we got an “outdoor kitchen” with our travel trailer, and were eager to try it out. However the griddle on the side of the trailer is stupid! It splashes grease and whatever all over the side of the trailer. Bad idea peeps. Nix on that! The small fridge outside is ok, but the kitchen takes up room from the bathroom. We’d rather have the space in the bathroom that we use all day long! We have a 30’ Coachman and want to trade up to something else. Not necessarily bigger, just better quality.
Hey Uncle Josh I was wondering why does the gray tank hold more than the fresh water tank? I would think if you were boondocking wouldn't you want the fresh water tank to hold more water than the gray tank. Lets say your fresh water tank was 120 gallons then I would make the gray tank 75 gallons and the black tank 60 to 70 gallons ! That way you would have plenty of fresh water and what you use would be split between the gray and black tanks. Your number one fan Leonard from North Carolina! #NERDHERD!!!!!!!ll
I like the new look of these. The outside looks a lot better then last year. Like the fiberglass roof. Wish all RVs would do that. Like the colors inside. Love the huge living space. Love all of the windows. Nice kitchen. Like the storage. Like the new windows. Like the bedroom. What are the cabinets made of? Thank you!
Per usual, I love your videos; super informative and entertaining. Wondering if you can do smallest; up to 35ft, bunkhouse travel trailers. Lightest if possible
3rd hand. I'd like one less side stand and a wider, more comfortable rear couch. The rear wall behind the bed needs a transom window. The exterior graphics are kind of boring, the blue included on the Salem line helps a little.. I still have hope you'll do a video regarding the glass entry door.
The fiberglass roof is a nice feature. Not much else I like about it. Rack and pinion slides are far superior to other systems. This one has little character, looks sterile and not very inviting
Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I really like this Wildwood Heritage Glen 308RL travel trailer! Like you said its a fifth wheel in a travel trailer. I do wish that the stove an oven was centered so you would have equal counter space on each side of it. I do realize that the drawers would be smaller but you could have 6 drawers instead of 3. I do like that you get to pantries in this unit, one hidden behind the TV an one beside the refrigerator. It has a nice bathroom in it with everything you need. The master bedroom is very nice with the walk in closet, an its washer an dryer preped. This is a unit that alot of people could see themselves in including myself. I know people that have bad knees or have trouble with their legs an back would love this unit. Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us this unit and giving us all the information good and bad on this Wildwood Heritage Glen 308RL travel trailer. Your number one fan and friend Leonard from North Carolina!
I also ❤ LOVE ❤ this Wildwood Glen 308RL travel Trailer, I have been looking for this for soon long!!! DON'T sell this Trailer Uncle Josh, THIS IS MINE!!!! 😂😅 Thank you for finding it for me!!! 🤗👏👏👏👏👏🤗 You are "THEE" MAN Uncle Josh ❤❤❤ Wish me luck with my husband
WHY is everybody using thermofoil when they know how terrible it is. Susceptible to water damage, and being used in areas where there's a lot of water. Make it make sense.
Because it was a step better than the old traditional t mold Thermofoil counters used to always be sealed. Water couldn’t affect it Some brands still do that. Coachmen usually does. But some suppliers use an open bottom that can be affected because it’s cheaper. But that’s something builders never mention
What I really love in this rig is you have alot of space to hang clothes and yo have a decent size kitchen and seating and entertainment area, awesome for a travel trailor, nice!!!!!
Wow! That is really nice. Except for the thermo Foil. That won’t last. Other than that it’s nice. But I won’t buy an RV without solid surface. But that’s just me.
This is one of my favorites in awhile! My biggest gripe is the lack of CPAP space; I’d rather see a regular queen with an actual side table.
You didn't leave the links to similar ones like you said. C'mon Josh!
The "CHECK PRICING" etc. link goes to a 2023 youtube video of another fifth-wheel, sir Just FYI/Lookin' out etc.

Slide type - only Rack. Wouldn't buy cable or schwin...
Everything is good except not coming with 30lb propane tanks and no wet bay
@joshthervnerd
Still waiting on the big reveals!!! 😊
If they could make 2 feet longer and a bunk house, and auto leveling,
That pantrytainment center is just BEGGING to have shelves ripped out and a John Stick style armory put in.

😆 John wick armory that’s great

Uncle Josh.. could you review the keystone passport 2605rb.. that would greatly be appreciated.. sometimes a HAPPY CAMPER..😅

Schwintech slide owner. Only have had problems. Always worried about it. Next camper won’t have any swintech.

Love the space, looks, and finish. No stinking way I will be towing around a bumper pull this size.

Nice.
I think more living area seating is better than having the island.
Probably an unpopular opinion. lol
Wow, this is a big boy. Do you feel that if you're looking at a long, heavy trailer like this that it would be better to just get a fifth wheel RV?
I’ve read that ADF book with the ‘Gas Station Murder Hobo!’ 🤣😂
HAIRYGLENNS! another GREAT RV!
I wish they would make 2 long bench seats instead of 4 chairs ?
how about color, why are they afraid of color and brown, white and black don't count.

No, I am the number one fan from NC!!!! l do love this RV, just need a bigger truck.

A very positive TT. I like the space, features and floorplan and most definitely a heavy duty 3/4 ton pick-up. White with a gray and blue trim.
Favorite slide system? None!
We said the same thing when we looked at the Salem model, “Dang this looks awesome”! Thank you Josh!
So far it’s a dream the stove and oven need to be upgraded
Josh!...your A.D.D. was on overdrive doing this video...glad to know I'm not the only one...😁
Loved the video Josh thanks! Manufacturers need to make hanging space longer for those of us women who wear dresses like myself. 😊
What a beautiful rig. Outside and inside all the colors are very good, gives a relaxing feei. Thanks for sharing.
Got a new HG 322VIEW last month, very similar. Love it!
What I really love in this rig is you have alot of space to hang clothes and yo have a decent size kitchen and seating and entertainment area, awesome for a travel trailor, nice!!!!!
Not a fifth wheel?
good video Josh
I've always liked white better. It never goes out of style and it's cooler for hot weather 😎
Lol I love your squirrel tendencies! Distractions all over. Love this trailer

@@JoshtheRVNerd they stopped making that floor plan in Idaho/ west coast. Any others you can think of?
So does the washer not have a tank to drain into?
The drain is located up front under slide, bathroom, kitchen in front of tiers
