Venting is completely fine rn. There are multiple ways you can bait vents without having to hard read the opponent so you can continue your combo.
Doesn't mean venting is bad, it's just that you have to think when it's safe to vent to avoid getting baited.

Venting is not overpowered. It stuns you for 2-3 seconds, can be blocked and parried, can be aerial'd (you can completely ignore it by dashing backwards and doing an aerial attack), about 10 different aerial mantras ALL negate venting and it takes 1/3 of your tempo in most cases. Not to mention getting your vents predicted straight up gives people all your tempo if they have the specific talents for it. It's strong, I'm not denying that, but it isn't ruining PVP - especially not with all the cheese and combo builds.
I agree with you man. I feel like venting was the devs' way of trying to insert a "combo breaker" and then they kept adding on top of it. I do think that there are some changes that need to be made to the whole tempo system, but it's a good idea and better than reservoir imo.
