Does an upgraded turbo affect reliability at all? I have a 24 Si as well. Completely stock right now but wanna do a few things to it (exhaust, intake, and wheels are top of my list)
Did you guys test this turbo with supporting mods on just premium pump gas ? I dont want to do any fuel changes. If yes, where can I find your dyno numbers with pump gas and this turbo /.?
The entire Gin range has been extensively tested with both pump gas 91, 93 and E30. On regular pump gas like 93, you can expect 300+WHP with supporting mods.
@27WON that’s phenomenal ! Also I am waiting for you guys to release the entire CAI system, I’ve followed your blog for sometime on development of it. Is this going to be done sometime this year? If yes, u think it’s going to be by summer ?
You'll want to be within the safe limits of what the CVT will handle. Typically that means limiting the amount of torque when tuning, but yes you can absolutely run this turbo with the CVT
This past October I finally laid to rest my '05 Corolla at 289k on the odo and picked up a '24 Si. Super stoked to drop this in soon 💯
Cant wait until i get to this part of my build 🔥🔥
patiently waiting for short intake to become available again for the Teggy . Hopefully soon
Could you put this on a 2.0 engine that’s stock
I need to get a civic!
😃😃😃
Just got a Gin Journal bearing for my 24 Si!!!!!

@ traded the car for a WRX. Returned turbo before I installed it.

@@27WON I heard 260 is safe torque, but somewhere state 250 which is lower so doesn’t that mean around 245 best spot
@@NigaBo-z3c ~260TQ is a good spot for the CVT
@@27WONgreat to know
@@27WON is there any way to increase TQ limits on CVT?
would this work on a 2.0?
What’s the net power gain?
in saudi we dont have civic si
we only have the sport that come with 1.5T and 180HP so is that upgrade work on my engine?
Yes it will, any 1.5T L15 in the 2022+ Civic
Can the cvt on integra handle the power?
Up to a certain limit, yes.
